Why the bi bias?

Don't worry! I don't have a stutter, I was just wondering why so many people here are biased (or seem to be) against Bisexual guys? I am sure this has been covered before, but I couldn't find it recently - Its fine for women to be Bi, and Bi Curious, but its very taboo for us guys, I get maybe 2 or 3 messages a week from "Straight" guys who are "orally bi" or "Bi curious" but don't put it on their profile simply because the swinging community doesn't accept them as much, i think its a bit unfair!

If you are Bi, you should change your status right now if it's down as straight! we should be accepted and honest i think, what do you think? and don't worry about messaging me guys, I am not going to out any of you!!

I am looking forward to hearing your views...

Try searching for Bi guys in the top left corner. you will find a lot of threads on the subject.

oh, and they don't lie on their profile because they're not accepted, because many people do accept them in the swinging world, they do it because not everyone wants to meet a bi guy, so they try to widen their chances.

I agree, be proud of what you are, and what you seek here, but more importantly be honest so people can make a honest decision.

If the majority of guys admitted to being bi, or curious then the straight ones would probably be in the minority and there would be less bias, don’t have a problem with bi guys here, well only the ones that fib to get what they want.

I agree with you on this one,I am orally bi/curious but don't show it as when I did have it on I found that a some won't meet a bi guy for whatever reason, maybe some think that if a guy is bi he will make a play for the guy,

Sorry if i've not explained myself very well.

Out of curiosity, why did you change it back? Surely you would just respect what they were looking for and pass them by if their profile stated no bi or bi curious men, after all there’s plenty of people on here who will and do meet bi males.

surely one of the worse things about these sites are the people not being open about who they are and what they want?

1 or 2 maybe but no where near the numbers quoted, and if they are, they're usually miles away from me

Thats because they're all hiding behind the straight label, you'll only know they are bi when they contact you, surely it just makes meeting likeminded people far more difficult to find? because if a bi couple is looking for a bi male for example, surely they'd pass by profiles with guys listed as straight.

Wasnt that long ago that a woman been Bi/Curious or Gay was taboo.... so give it time while the rest of society catches up with the swinging world!

It's still very difficult for people to accept their own sexuality... Some don't know their own feeling so expecting them to post openly that they are when they are not sure is unfair I believe.. Until you are sure no-one should make you wear a label. I knew I liked ladies and I put bi- curious on my profile, but just because I know know I love ladies doesn't mean 'every ' lady in the world. Swingers come here for different reasons, to explore their sexuality. Look past the profile if you want more than a quick fuck and accept some people arnt sure about the label they 'have' to wear to confirm to others expectations. If a bi girl or guy pm's you then take each one on it's own don't tar everyone with the same brush and you will begin to really enjoy the swinging scene...
