Report to the police. As personal the videos are, the police will be used to dealing with this sort of thing x

If deactivate you fb profile your just putting yourself in the dark. Go to the police and take legal action. This happened to my ex and we got an order to sieze his computer and phone. It was a really shitty thing to go through hope you come out of this with a smile.

you know who he is so thats a plus! bite the bullet..speak to police and get legal advice..this is blackmail , stalking and harassment. presumably you know where he works also. you have a lot of info to give police. remember you have not broken any laws, but he sure has! keep your chin up and speak to police xxx hope it turns out ok.

Agree with the above, if you have evidence of him threatening it - recordings, emails texts etc then all the better.

Best not give him the heads up so he has the chance to stash them elsewhere.

It's a criminal matter and should be dealt with accordingly.

Good luck.

Totally agree with all the above threads, go to the police now, they will put you at ease, its not what's on the videos they will be bothered about but the black mail and intimidating behaviour, they will probably contact your ex with a stern warning, should be enough for them to poop themselves.

He probably won't but you should go to the police to make sure. He sounds like an abusive control freak. You have to stand up to those sort of people. Go to the police or you will just be worrying forever if he will or not. I don't know how understanding your boss is but could you tell them what's happening. Let us know how you get on.

X

I agree with this. A blackmailers power is removed if they have no one to show their "evidence" to. Someone tried a similar thing with our daughter she told us without too much detail and we said to tell him there was nothing he could tell us we didn't already know.....power removed.

I really hope this works out well, blackmail is low.

Did you know the videos were made cause if they're secret recording style he'd be in even more trouble but the police will help and you'll easily get a restraining order put in place to sort him for a good
