I can't climax - help?

Hi all,

I just can't manage to climax, and wanted to know if anyone else ever had that problem and if there is anything I can try?

Some women obviously like someone who can go for hours without coming, but my experience is most women get fed up after a while and think they are doing something wrong!!

I'm starting to get a complex about this - help anyone?

Two points. 1 does the equipment work ok? I.e can you wank to a successful climax? If not, seek medical attention. Seriously. 2. Are you overdoing it with point one? Maybe with help of porn etc, you are simply becoming jaded. I'd recommend a period of total abstinence for at least 3 weeks.

Not to delve to much into your situation but excessive masturbating can reduce a mans ability to ejaculate during penetration. The "hand grip" so to speak, is more intense so can "numb" the ability to climax any other way.

Also excessive porn can result in a person being unable to climax in a real encounter, as their idea of sex is what they see in porn.

Try not to mastubate at all and only climax when you're in a real encounter.

This is a very very common problem in men these days. Hope you get sorted out mate.

I don't disagree with any of the above but if you only get a shag every 3 months that can be tough going!

Hey there, male of the couple typing, I had this problem a few years back. It was a result of a hormonal imbalance coupled with nerve damage from an operation. On paper lasting hours is indeed great but in reality it's not much fun. It did eventually sort itself out although if I'm stressed, etc, it can still happen now.

What you do NEED to do is go to your GP, or a local sexual health clinic, and talk to a professional about it. Health is not something to be sniffed at!

Are you taking any medication? Around ten years ago I had that problem and it turned out to be a side-effect. If not, it could be stress related whether externally or because of this.
