Hey everyone,

So, I've got my veris and all that which is great. Most leave veris but not all.

But... I've noticed that I don't find it as easy to get replies as I used to. Ofcourse, most women blatantly ignore messages but I used to have such a high reply rate. That seems to have diminished somewhat!

So I'm thinking, what have I changed? Maybe I'm acting differently. But then I noticed that my veris show and that list has got bigger.

Ladies, does the amount of veris a guy has influence your _iew of him in a negative way?

I know that in some circumstances, women hate to think they are one of many. In other circumstances, women love to have a man who has socialised and been accepted by other people, etc.

What's your opinion on this matter?

Verifications are a double-edged sword. Too many and it looks like you are a serial shagger. Too few - and you are unreliable. Cam verifications are worthless IMHO (I never trust them).

I leave mine for public _iewing because I hope it give an impression of what someone will find if they decided to meet me. I may not be the best lover ever - but I hope people see that I'm a genuine and quite nice person.

Personally, a large amount tended to put me off when I was meeting but I wouldn't say 11 in over a year is off putting. Some I've seen have over 50 but over a year could be many years on here for them. Each to their own I suppose.

I don't honestly think the amount of varies would put me off but I know I would be a little bit put off if they had lots close together, say more than 8 in a month.

I'm more interested in what is or is not written in them and that they have some so I can make a slightly more informed decision.

Completely agree, always good to use as a guide.

And I know a lot of people visit social events so end up 'collecting' a lot from that evening.

What I also find funny (as I like to go to clubs)

If during the social part of being in a club I end up 'clicking' with the lady or couple...

I am not going to ask them how many verifications they have on Fab before I decide if I will go any further.

You tend to judge a person / couple for who they are if you bump into them in a club, but will be more judgemental if you see their verifications first on Fab.

Use verifications as a guide. But do you own research (by chatting to someone either via PMs or in one of the chat rooms).

After all, your opinion of someone may vary wildly from what others have said. Or it may support their veris.

Be selective about which ones you show, maybe? We don't show all of ours - some are repeat meets (albeit a year apart), some are too detailed as to what went on (who needs to read a blow by blow account lol) and some are now from a few years ago and not necessarily relevant. We also don't show the verification summary because we've been on here for several years and the summary doesn't take that into account - nor split between social and play meets - and some people would just _iew the numbers on there

So many good points on this thread .

Meeting folk purely through fab is often a waste of time for us , so we only meet in clubs .

Unless we have chatted on here first to arrange to meet at a club , the people we play with haven't a clue how many we have .

If people avoid us because we have too many , we won't lose any sleep over their choice .

Often they are the same whingers who complain about not being able to find a single bi female to play with

Veri's only tell you about the person that left them. Even if they say "don't pass them by" someone else wrote it, not the person with the profile.

I just want verification that people are real and actually meet, not really bothered about the numbers. You would also expect people who have been on fab longer might have more verifications.

I attend socials and get an average of 12 verifications every social cos I actually go and chat to pple, if you look at the numbers without the content one might just assume.

I like to display mine, as it shows the sort of person I am.

As Steel Heels says above me, if a woman is put off by the amount of veri's you have, she's on the wrong site. What if you have been on here 5+ years? Of course your gonna have a few veri's, even if you only do play meets.

I have choosen not to show my verification summary because it shows over 300 verifications but about 90% of them come from arranging many social events in Scotland but for many people who dont know me wouldnt know that and may assume they have come from play meets lol

Evetyone _iew about veris is different. Some check them for what they were intended to, others use them for a nosy and opssession about other competitors and to compare themselves. Others use them for drama and bitching (jealousy). I had the same issue with the OP... When I started off I had 3 meets in one month and had no veris but was doing better than now that I know the ins and outs of fab. after I had few veris from some attractive ladies. At the begining some wanted to meet me cause they wanted the man that hot woman had! (a competition thing). Others didnt want to meet cause they felt intimidated by the thought of comparing themselves as a less attractive ...

So yes veris are a double edged sword. Hense why I only show one veri. Most girls I met have left the site anyway.! I must be a lucky charm !

Very true , at socials you are just being very friendly and chatting to others .

They then verify you for being just that and genuine .

If you have been on here for roughly 8 weeks and you have (playing/penetrative sex) verifications totally around 15 upwards then that could be a big problem to many people .

That said if you have been on here for 2 years and more the same verifications are much more acceptable but people just do the number counting game , judge you before taking time to figure out the length of time you have been on .

This isnt a compotition and i for one never feel im competing against anyone.

I always take veris as a guide line only and that the person is genuine and meets,im not in the least bit intrested in who they are meet ,how he shagged her or how good she sucked his cock because at the end of the day what was someones best meet could turn out to be your worst nightmare .

I personally prefer to meet a potential regular friend with benefit instead of endless one off's. So When I see a profile with 50 meets in 4 months periodes and she is looking to meet everyday i.e. Status and meets ads then I avoid.

How can anyone make a judgment on amount of veris? I have loads but 99% are from meeting in Fab socials. Also, a person may have been on site for 4/5/6 years...that does not mean they are serial shaggers...just that they have been on here a long time and it therefore makes sense they have a lot of veris.

I am one of those really annoying people who reads profiles and reads veris because there is still NO option to choose 'Meet by social' when giving a verification and how else will I separate the actual meets from the social ones?

To answer the OP...Maybe you've shagged all the girls in your area and there is just nobody else available he he

So, I've got my veris and all that which is great. Most leave veris but not all.

So I'm thinking, what have I changed? Maybe I'm acting differently. But then I noticed that my veris show and that list has got bigger.

Ladies, does the amount of veris a guy has influence your _iew of him in a negative way?

I know that in some circumstances, women hate to think they are one of many. In other circumstances, women love to have a man who has socialised and been accepted by other people, etc.

What's your opinion on this matter?

"Verifications are a double-edged sword. Too many and it looks like you are a serial shagger. Too few - and you are unreliable. Cam verifications are worthless IMHO (I never trust them).

I've been called a whore before now, just for having plenty of male verifications but refusing to meet at the drop of a hat?

I rarely read them but if a guy has met some really unattractive people I would be unlikely to meet him.

Poor taste, to knowledge people play without protection and many others. Lets face it there is so much choice on here why not.

I think verifications are a like a map into people's preferences and whether or not they will make the effort to meet...as a guy who will and does travel to meets surely this is an indication of the person

This might sound odd but my veris are memories to me of fun with great people.

On another note though ive been told they degrade me.I have been on fab eight months and lost a lot when i deleted my first account but to me the object of fab is fun so if u judge wholly on veris maybe u should be on a nice dating site and not fab.Iwas with the same man 41 yrs so deff no serial shagger but im damn well going to have fun before i pop off

Good lord this obsession with veris.

Too many, not enough, too explicit, too many from the same people.

Veris show that people meet regularly and are less likely to let you down. Simple as.

I avoid the webcam ones, as we can all do that all day, so it means nothing to me.

I can pretty much see a fake ones too now.

I like the type of person they are ones.

The amount of veris doesn't matter, some have been on here years.
