Hi Girls and guys,

after reading a recent post about men moaning about body hair and hairy chests blah, blah, blah i thought i'd share a story about my experience.

It all started as a bet between a few work mates as we prepared to "get stacked lol" and look the best we can be for a trip to a well known tourist destination, off the coast of Spain.

I drew the short straw and was the one who had to remove all of my body hair (for as long as i could stand lol) so i made the trip to a facility where a lovely mature lady who reasuured me plenty of men/ women do this and the treatment generally isn't as bad as it sounds.

So there i was nervously filling out a form to waiver any dangerous reactions to wax etc thinking to myself "what the f*** am i doing here ?"

As i made my way into the room snd unzipped my clothes off i found my self feeling a little sheepish

but thinking i'd let the side down i thought "no, lets do it" so i lay down on the bed to start, the wax was a lovely warming sensation to my chest as i lay in silence knowing now, there was no way back and "3..2..1.. WHACK !!"

there it was the first section removed, i never felt so much pain in my entire life still i thought "c'mon you can get yourself through this" and carried on why you ask ? i have no idea trying to prove a point of what a man i am i guess

So i went through the pain of the chest, the back, the torso and had the final piece of the jigsaw to do.....the saack and crack, as i'm lay out on all fours like some dog waiting to be mounted a voice says " this may hurt a little now, you've done well so far but this will test you haha"

haha ? this was no laughing matter as this lady made here way around my private parts ripping out my very soul...i thought i died and went to hell for punishment, as i lay there i whimpered and eventually had to stop half way through with a half waxed / unwaxed pubic area which looked stupid and even worse i had to pay £120 for this torture and guess what ? it all grew back after 3 weeks rendering the exercise utterly pointless !!

So in conclusion, guys just forget it, the only thing it will make look bigger is the fool you will become known as if you go through this experience, and ladies i salute you for being able to tolerate such pain,as if it's nothing

hope you enjoyed this rather retched tale, i didn't

I had my pubes and backside hair waxed as per a present by my missus. I was nearly crying afterwards. Horrible, I will never do it again.

i bet that wasn't the most delightful present you've ever had,all i'm saying is at least i've tried it and it's not for me. Nice to see someone else who's the same opinion as me

I got waxed last night to see if it's any better than shaving and OMFG I've never felt pain like it but gonna get it done every so often as the more it's done the less painful it becomes.

I done a strip on the mrs leg last night but pulled it off at the wrong angle and now she has a massive bruise there off it. Don't think she will let me do it again

A kick in the balls hurts more than labour. My reasoning is far more women are prepared to go through labour again tthanmen wanting another kick in the balls.

I am a cosmetologist and have done waxing on women. I have also had a Brazillian wax. The girl did a horrible job on me. The part that was good, was smooth. But she missed a lot. Have to wait to go back when hair is 1/4 inch. I don't see the point as I prefer to be smooth - That's not smooth and hair free.

After that one time,I went and bought the wax machine and had B wax me. He was all game until he watched my bits swell and get red. He was horrified by the 3rd pull when the wax nabbed a bit of skin and made me bleed. We stopped and I threw the machine in the trash and went back to shaving. Which I hate. I am going to save up to have laser hair removal. (K)

My boyfriend bought me the Philips Lumea Precision Plus.

It works great, when I get the time and remember to use it. The only problem i have with it is that it works in patches, I will use it then in a few weeks some of the hair grows and some of it doesn't. I know this is just due to the cycle of hair growth, and I need to keep at it and it gets better. It works fantastically on the OH's body, been doing bits round his private parts

But i'm defo saving up for professional laser hair removal done, hopefully soon.

you say you drew the short straw, so what did the others have to do, out of curiosity?

It has been proved that the human body can with stand 47 units (dels) of pain, during child birth a woman will experience 65 units (dels) of pain. This is the equivalent of 20 bones being fractured at the same time. xx

Hmm.

So does it hurt more to have fine feminine hair removed or thick masculine hair?

Dyserth, North Wales

I've literally just had a full body wax.

I paid for my partner to go on to a waxing course and she has the full kit.

2 hours and not once did I swear at her. A new record in time and politeness.

Never had a problem being waxed except some pain in the pubic area. But making sure hair isn't too long helps and it doesn't grow back half as thick once it's been waxed.

Watch John Bishop from his tour when he tells the story about being waxed.

It makes me cry with laughter every time I watch it.

I think we should look into the research reports from the labs - I'm sure each gender would argue their own side's hair causes more suffering. It may also be down to hair density, as I'm guessing that guys have thicker hair density too.

It may be dearer, but I think some of the poor guy's experiences show that it's best to do things bit by bit.

Alot of pro footballers get waxed and, based on their rolling around on pitch, seem to have low pain thresholds, so not sure how they cope with alot of waxing. That said, I'd get between a few of their legs, giving some sack, crack n meat care.

Will I can add something to this .

Last year in Turkey I had my nose and ears waxed .

It was torture I can tell you but it made me feel fresh and clean for weeks .

I'd never heard of it but apparently a lot of Turkish men do it.

You need to have it done regularly, every 5-6 weeks normally, so the roots don't have time to get strong.

Have it done now and again and it'll hurt just as much each time.

If you're going to get waxed and are worried about it hurting, try not to because if you expect it to hurt, it probably will. Remember to breathe and don't hold your breath. You can also try asking the therapist to tell you to breathe out as she removes a section.

Hot wax (the type without fabric strips) usually hurts less.

You can also take cocodamol or another painkiller an hour before the appointment. It does help.

Also, don't get a wax if you have a cold or are under the weather. It will hurt more.

Had a back, sack and crack before a holiday....only ever trim my chest and shave my pubes. It wasn't so painful that I wouldn't do it again, but I broke out in little lumps.

Ruined the first few days of the holiday because I looked like I had measles!

So now just trim and shave... tried Veet but it was patchy, so still had to finish off with a razor...ho hum

"Good job men don't give birth!"

What pointless comment; when giving birth your body releases chemicals to help you dilate and complete the natural process. It's not a male female thing.

Men and women have lost limbs on the battle field and the body naturally helps them cope and there is nothing to say women cope with that better.
