"In the vanilla world those questions would probably be considered normal in a getting to know you type way. I suspect some who don't value discretion would fail to realise that they are far less appropriate on here. Add to that, that as we know you are quite a secretive person generally maybe you are misreading it? I certainly hope so" I hope so too... It just was a little uncomfortable but there's nothing to be done, I just value my privacy and there was something a little strange going on with the conversation. I'm going to put it down to experience.

"I have nothing to hide but like my privacy and don't feel my colleagues, extended family and neighbours need to know any details about my sex life. I had a few messages today from someone who joined a few weeks ago and had no clear pics.i suggested a quick cam face to face. He seemed to want too many details about where I live, what I work as and my area, and I felt a little unnerved. I politely ended the video chat, and when I got a message inviting me for a drink I explained I didn't feel the chemistry and will maybe see him at a social. Within 10 mins he had left the site. I just feel like maybe he was trying to find stuff about me for someone as I did not recognise him at all. ( have had a few get a little stalkerish and so I am slightly wary. What's the forumites impression, Thank you x" Anybody asking for location, work and personal information we would avoid as its not needed for having fun here. If you think they are a stalker you may well be right so block and move on there are 1000's of others.

"Humans still have a 'gut' instinct and despite all our technological wonders, it pays to listen to it. If you have doubts, don't do it...you did the right thing. Listen to your body. " this.. would add that next time get them to send you a face pic etc, if they're gen they will.. if you recognise etc then politely decline..

" Absolutely right - always follow your first instincts. Doesn't matter if it's just a vague unease, or if it's the full "Screaming klaxon and somebody shouting Dive-Dive-Dive" - it's time to get out.... If it's somebody who makes you feel like that then you wouldn't be comfortable getting any closer to them anyway,. Take the time - there are a lot of genuine, sensitive, understanding people on here; they are the ones that are worth taking the trouble to find....
