Not who look at you no, but you can block who winks/messages.

Yes, just click on their profile names, and hit the block button on the left, same as via message/wink/friends invite/etc...

I thought they meant to stop a whole category of people from looking.

I thought if you blocked someone, then they couldn't see you any more? Is that not the case then?

I thought if you blocked someone, then they couldn't see you any more? Is that not the case then?

they can't see your actual profile, but in searches will see if your online thats it

wow way to confuse block and filters.

Filters stop groups of people being able to message you.

Individual blocks should stop them seeing your profile, stop them being able to send you a message, wink or friend request you and they shouldn't be able to search you either.. as far as my knowledge stands.

i did mean a category but when you block an individual it does stop them from seeing your profile,i just wanna block a category thats all

If by 'group' you mean a certain gender or age - no you can't block them from viewing you - just messaging/winking/sending friends invites.
