Any advice. Some characters on here behave rather oddly.

Also I do realise the irony of this topic, given my name.

Simple as that? My question would then expand. How does that work exactly. Who handles and digests the entire thing?

The story goes like this. I contacted someone of fabs via YIM, that I am pretty certain tries to phish. What can I do about it?

So you mean they sent you a dodgy link via YIM? Although that's not Fabs responsibility its probably a good idea to report the profile anyway, just in case it is a theme in their messages. I would also report them to Yahoo.

Anyway, the solution for me would be to avoid YIM and the like. I was just wondering if the report button would do anything in this case. As per reporting on yahoo, my account is rather new so I don't think it would hold much weight.

I don't think Yahoo care how old your account is. If you still have the chat logs then you can show them.
