Question for the single gals

Is it ok to message you with a cut and paste job if edit it slightly/re-tailor it specifically to your needs and requirements?

It's just, I'm basically saying more or less the same thing each time I message women on here so it would be quicker and more efficient to do that. My keyboard is a bit sticky these days and needs replaced, so it's mainly to avoid repeating any unneccessary typos.

Also, could you please teach me how to spell the word unneccessary?

Unnecessary.

I would not reply to an obviously cut & paste message (leaving someone elses name in there, saying 'Hi guys' when there is only one of me) but if you are careful, how would I know?

1) Addressed to - A couple

2) Addressed to - A different profile name

3) Mentioned something not in my profile!

I think it is a very dangerous game to use copy and paste as these simple errors are very easy to make, and once made? You cannot back track....well, with me you can't

I'd never reply to a copy and paste message, especially if they send the exact same message a few hours later or the next day. I'd know if it was a copy and paste if they didn,t put "fabtastic" in the header so I know they've read my profile, asking for NSA when I'm not interested in that kind of stuff at the moment and not mentioning anything about me (if they have read my profile)

I don't think you need to have a couple of paragraphs, but definitely not too short and quirky, there is a very fine line, as long as it show's my profile has been read and leaves me with something to respond to, I think that is the main thing.

I'd also get rid of the whole time travel and saying you're someone from one direction if you ever send it in a message, just sounds ridiculous

If the first message does not contain the required answers as stated in my profile, then I would know the sender has not read it, which makes it a lot easier to decide what to do next.

Whatever you do some people will like it, some won't. How about you just do what you think and then you're more likely to appeal to the people who will appreciate you.

I see nothing wrong with copying part of your message. The part where you describe yourself and what you are looking for isn't going to change depending on who you are sending it to so why should it be typed out again and again. You should preface it with a personal message to the recipient though.

Plus 5-10 mn reading and analising their profile to find out its just the same usual rant and what u r been told to do and not to do in a a shape of rude eules. then u have to be original and creative in your message which defo takes more than 2 mn. After all that effor your message will be lost amongst the 500 messages they got waiting in their mail box which often they balk delete coz they simply dont have the time to get through them all but still dont give a shit about you giving u task that if u apply u find yourself doing a part time job going through profiles and contacting them (with conditions). Single guys are treated like candidates for jobs and women consider them themselves like the boss emplolyer who will treat any way he wants. What kinda world r u living in guys?! this is a mutual pleasure request. I will just say hi. If u r smart go n check my profile if u find a pktential come back have the decency to say hi in return. Only then I will take u seeiously and give u some of my precious time

Wow so what about those of us that don't rant/demand or ask for certain subject lines and what not?

The only ones i delete are 'how's u?'

'your wife is stunning'. 'amazing pics' or any other combination of clearly not even glanced at my profile.

I also keep the text section of my profile shorter than my veris. (on my phone screen)

And couples can also send rubbish messages, i had 2 today, demanding to know what I've got planned nye!! No previous anything but desperate to start the new year with a mff. Instant delete & block

Epics not needed, just thought & effort

Depends on what the message said. If it was a funny/ interesting copy and paste message I'd be a happy chicken. I understand very well that there's no point writing a brand new mail every time when it will mostly get ignored or deleted!!

If it had someone else's name on it I might laugh or I might be pissed off. Depends on what the rest of the message said. I'm easy to please.

I don't have do's and don't on my profile, but I do state who not to contact me, not quite the same! Tends to get ignored anyway, but WOW if that is what you message people and it works for you? Carry on!, but it certainly would not compel me to reply! So WOW again

I've been taking the time to message people with a succinct and topic relevant messages but unfortunately responses are low. I think it's all a bit hit and miss really. Maybe some people have accounts without the intention to take it further and others have specific requirements. Either way, I think individual messages are better.

That won't work for me! If I have to ask something most put in their profile then I won't bother.

Most women read profiles. Often before we even open the message. So if you don't match what I'm looking for then you will get a reply from me but it might be sarcastic.

I also reply to brief messages. My rule is: if they said it to me in a bar and I'd reply then I reply on here. If you follow this rule then the cut and paste fantasy "what I'll do to you" messages would be greeted with a curl of the lip and a walk away from the weirdo!

But a hello how are you from Will get a reply, though if you don't meet my preferences you won't be encouraged and may get sarcasm.

Copy and paste. Lazy plain and simple. Its hard work and a pain in the.arse if you go to the trouble of messaging.and it gets ignored/ deleted.

But it does work on occasion . You get out what you put in ( no pun intended )
