Really you should switch condoms between. The bacteria that is present in your anal passage can be dangerous to the delicate tissue in your vaginal area.

Apparently it can cause infections but have to say ive not had an issue .. and as we tend to swap and change and dont use condoms with each other , we have not had any issues as yet.

I do always prepare just in case we may have anal.

Every time we have had anal we have always swapped between the two.. and never had any issues.. we go for clean up after and I clean before

e-coli and other bacteria live in a persons rectum, if the are introduced into your vagina it can cause infections, if they are introduced into your urethra it can cause cystitis.

If you are prepared to chance it go ahead.

Bacterial based infections like UTI's are most commonly passed on by having vaginal straight after anal sex.

Your rectum houses vast amounts if bacteria and your vagina is really succeptable to infection.

In short, you COULD do it but eventually you would be caught with an unpleasant infection.

Have to say I've never had any problems.. can't really see how it's like Russian roulette.. I limit who uses my arse... But it would totally spoil the moment if I had to stop to swap condoms over it wouldn't be worth doing... As sometimes we swap from one to the other and back again almost with each stroke.

I accept there is a small risk of a infection but nothing a dose of antibiotics wouldnt sort.. not that I've ever found it to a problem x

I think current trends in porn have a lot to do with this. I read a sex book twenty odd yrs ago that advises arse to vag is a big no no. As far as I know the mk1 human body hasn't changed over time.

From someone who has experienced infections due to a slip (ffs)/cross contamination (oh and I am meticulous in my anal preparations), NOOOOOOOO don't do it: arse last! Or wash/change condoms. I'm pretty sensitive in the vagina and have to be careful on what lubes are being used also.

Thank god I don't have a vagina!! You can never be perfectly clean...it's not the faecal matter contamination that you have to be wary of but the naturally occuring flora and fauna that live in your bowel...they have no place in the vagina and are what cause the imbalance and subsequent infection...they are many millions in number and no amount of preparation can remove them all-it would be extremely bad for your overall health if you could...

Calculated and informed risks are only that if you have information which is accurate...
