why can't i get a 'meet' ?

hi everyone i can't believe i've somehow had the confidence to make a post here ! lol but yeah is my profile off putting in anyway or am i that ugly the only person i should meet is a plastic surgeon ? :/ ha, with my first message i always read the profile before hand and send proper replies etc so where am i going wrong ?

The wording is a bit bland, say more about yourself - what makes you interesting? The warning is very passé and no one pays any attention to it, either.

You have two pics, but both are essentially the same, try for some variety.

Keep at it mate, my only advice is to keep it simple, and blitz every profile you can find with a basic copy and past message , despite what people say it can work

thank you ! i dont know if this shows who im replying to so sorry in advance but yeah my age should be fine really cause i've done loads of things that some 'oldies' would dream of :P haha and met with older before etc so i just see it as mutual fun based on preference although age could be 1 too

May be its because single guys put posts up here complaining that they don't get meets. Bit like Tesco complaining they don't sell many on a product. Its all in the advertising and brand image, Make something appealing, stand out or just a nice reliable company that you feel safe with.

Why don't these single guys put up interesting posts instead of just wanting to attract a meet and sex. For us we like to have relaxed mental stimulation and feel a 'connection' with people to play with. Without it, it doesn't matter how sexy they look or horny they are.

oh yeah thanks for that ! -.- haha i did used to get my eyebrows done i'll be honest there but cross dressing nope just well groomed (everywhere) , thanks i've not got many pics cause i hate them been took but will try then update

OP, TBH, fellas have a better chance on POf then when you do, ask them do they want to swing with you. I know a few guys who have done this. You see, its more relaxed over there. Here, some women are really hard to get yet in the real world, it would be the other way around. Sometimes men wouldnt even look at them. Its a power thing with them on here IMO

Your profile seems fine, you have ok pictures for some you may be a little young but there is a lot of competition for single guys on here so you will have to just keep trying.

about a minute ago....no it doesn't work...I've had to block 2 guys who were doing it every single day, same messages, so no I don't think it does, especially seeing as it's the same person

Getting into this at such a late stage, may I offer this.

Looking at your profile, just view it from this perspective.

It is one long, long, long sentence. Read it back and see how much you can say in one single breath. Bet you can't do it!!

You have to break your Profile down into separate parts. Expand on it too. Say a bit more about yourself.

Whilst some might say it isn't important, how you use all spelling, punctuation and so on inside your profile does work! If your profile appears sloppy in its presentation, it will impact negatively on others.

You have to "sell" yourself; it's as simple as that, as you are up against loads of others seeking the same.

Get onto the Forums; get to clubs or socials in your area. It is all about getting noticed!

But don't follow the daft advice of cutting and pasting replies to all. I always read profiles through and tailor any response to meet what the advertisers are seeking.

It takes a lot of patience and perseverance, but it does work in the end. Good Luck.

I've also met folk who it just so happens didn't leave a verification. I'm not denying that lots of guys copy/paste, I'm just saying I disagree that it's the best method. It's not about quantity of people you meet, it's about quality - which of course is subjective. I can't imagine by blitzing you get to meet the people you most want to meet.

Totally agree with the above. Only tailored meesages show real interest in the other people. I also don't think about it being a numbers game. It's about knowing what you want and putting the effort in to get it. Quality of communication leads to quality sex!

Let's see what the poster thinks about the scenario, you've been on the site nearly 2yrs so I would expect you to have meets and veris.

Just a suggestion to get he lad started and believe me the majority of guys do it. I'm sure as you seem to attend a lot of socials that you establish contacts through that media also. I've simply not the time or inclination to do socials it's not for everyone.

Though I agree you can tailor your messages with success just depends how much time you've on your hands I guess!! By copy and paste I don't mean every woman I'm a 50 miles radius etc. I mean the ones you actually find attractive or have an interest in their profile, so I disagree that you can't get quality meets by this method. I certainly have using it.

Though that's your opinion which of course your entitled too.

As for the copy and paste argument.

When I was a single guy on another site years ago I used a combination of both copy and paste, and individual message.

I had a standard message that I had saved, then I would slightly modify it to an individual profile. Saved a lot of typing and the messages always looked personal.

It worked quite well.

Ok, first off, you're not my type!, but, think your profile is generally ok,- it does read a bit 'blah', but it's generally ok.... Nothing too offensive in there.

I wouldn't go for the 'I'm hung' line, a) because I'm not!, and b), because it can appear a bit braggish.... Ditto the 'I'm only after NSA' line, but, again, nothing too offensive about it

Hang in there, do make the first mails personal, and it will happen. Men are massively playing against the numbers on this site...

dont forget to factor in the lazy Cristiano Ronaldo lookalikes on here who rather than put in the hard graft and bang in one for Madrid prefer too turn out for the local sunday league pub side,which in turn means the average player who would normally be first team choice gets too carry the sponge and bucket and hand out the oranges at half time

Think you profile is ok. Don't really say much about you to be honest, just shows you want about same as every other NSA chancer on here.

For me you're a tad young but each to their own and all that. I'd be more worried you'd spend more time looking in the mirror than me, lol but then I do like a well groomed man.

See you have both good and bad points going for you. I agree with others re:losing the hung line. It's naff and to be honest virtually every other bloke says that on here anyway.

I do think a targeted message works best. That's the way I've got most of my meets or via socials which I'd highly recommend. I mostly delete the one liner and obvious copy and paste ones.

yeah fair do's i will change it abit later on and i'll lose the hung line too then lmao i wanted it to be in a more humorous kind of way and if its the truth or not would be for others to say cause it'd be easy enough for me to say either ha, lmao ! i am well groomed yeah but not out of vanity just the fact god's given me a crap canvas to work on so every little helps an all that ! :P, thank you

yeah i think an easily modifiable message with most of the main things i'd want to say could be a good idea but alot of the time it's dependent on the other persons profile too, whats with the names btw spain an germany ? lol i know its out of them for the world cup anyway !
