FabSwingers.com forum: what do I gotta do?!

So I completely understand that everyone is entitled to their own likes, dislikes. This isn't a rant as such more a general wondering. I'm quite picky myself so I don't mind if people just delete my messages from the off, but say I've messaged 20 girls on here I've had 2/3 replies and even those have come to nothing.

I'm polite, respectful, always read profiles and tailor each message individually. I try to stay discreet, keep my pics private but always send a few along with my first message; people want to know who they're talking to right.

I'm 25, reasonably decent looking and I'm a bit stumped as to why I'm not getting many responses - maybe it's the verifications but I can't get those without a first meet obviously.

Does anyone have any advice?

Write a profile, send face pic with first messages, be polite and READ their profile first

No public photos and one line of text in your profile.

Many look at a profile before even opening the message.

If you put as much effort into sex as you have done with your profile I am not surprised people don't meet you.

Yes, keep trying and stop expecting.

I have a single male profile on here, and although I rarely play on it now, I used to a lot.

Getting meets wasn't easy, but I did still get quite a lot.

Just because its a sex site it doesn't mean women are going to be jumping on you no matter how good looking/charming you are.

I also don't think posts like 'what wrong with me' and status updates along similar lines help matters.

Be patient, be yourself, and you will be fine.

If your profile was as long as your post and you had some public pics you might not have such issues!

People browse profiles. Not just sit and wait for messages.

Yours isn't exactly eye catching!!

Ok thanks for the feedback, to be honest I've not looked at the profile since I set it up so probably does need some work yes!!

It's my prerogative to keep my pics private and that's the way it'll stay - like I said I send a fair few with my first message. Cheers guys.

Your profile is your shop window, walking past a shop takes 11 seconds, and the shopkeeper has to make you, look stop, and tempt you in, a profile takes 2 seconds to view, that's all you have to grab attention and create some interest, your profile is not doing you any favours, at least 2 pics, needed , its a sex site,and you have 2 seconds to grab someones attention.

Even just an avatar is better than nothing. I have my search to show only those with public photos so the OP wouldn't even show up in my search.

Yep - it's your prerogative - and sending pics with a message is a positive action.

But the people who actively search for company will generally pass you by if there's no visual representation if yourself to give an idea of attraction.

You don't need face pics. Body shots (clothed even) will help massively - and if you're worried about 'Discretion' then there's easy ways to maintain that whilst giving people an idea about you.

You wouldn't buy a car/tv/house without viewing it. You probably wouldn't go to a bar/pub/club without looking at it first. You definitely wouldn't eat a meal without making sure it didn't look like a dogs dinner .

Why should someone be interested in engaging with someone that could be the exact opposite if what they're interested in and attracted to ?

Having no visible pics creates an uphill struggle for anyone - even couples and single females. As a single guy amongst many all you're achieving is diverting those viewing you to those with public images !

But as you say - it's your prerogative - and what would I know about pics, profiles and meets !
