What’s in it for me?

If the answer is ‘nothing’ then I’d recommend thinking twice about doing it.

I should explain… I don’t mean helping out a friend or donating to charity. I’m talking about doing something sexual which isn’t the norm for you.

If someone asks you for cyber sex, cam fun, phone sex and it’s not something you’d normally do, then ask yourself “what’s in it for me?”.

You may think… well it’s a chance to try something different or the thought of trying it arouses you… that’s OK then, as you get something from it.

If you are doing it to try and get something else further down the line (or on a promise of getting what you really want if you do this)…. well the likelihood is, the person who asked you to do it has got their fix and will feck off. After all, if you are into cam sex, only looking for cam sex and you get cam sex, job done!

If they want you do so something you don’t want, in order to get what you do want at a later date… hhhmmmmmmmm.

In short…. some people will lie to get what they want.

And never EVER do something you don’t really want to just to keep someone else happy (even if you know them really well)… unless you get a buzz from seeing them get their rocks off… which does mean there is something in it for you.

Doing things just to keep someone else happy doesn’t make them like you more…. but it can make you like yourself less.

Thus endeth the rambling for this post.

So does that mean because I hate cooking I don't have to cook the other half's dinner even though it will make him happy?

It's no fun 'making' someone do something just for you anyway. If I want to try something new, I want that person to be into it as well, half the fun is meeting someone who finds that new thing a turn on also.

Not all people roll that way sadly.

Is it a sexual dinner?

Damn

Off to cook.

Your post is a good one though and yes, no one should do anything they don't want to do. If someone did something just to please me, then I wouldn't enjoy it either.

Indeed, and in fact with the w/s which I still haven't tried, I met someone who didn't really like it but said "I'd do it for you", I chose not to...

Thanks for the ramble but its right, whats in it for me, i dont do things i dont want to but sometimes find it hard to say no and im always doing things for people because i feel obliged to. I must admit though, i didnt feel anything other than "what a waste of time" when a bloke came loudly down the phone, i felt ridiculous doing what he wanted so wouldnt do phone sex, just not for me
