Ok, not sure how to ask this but i have always shaved downstairs and under arms but at my last trim on sunday i cut myself

Have put antiseptic on and kept the wound clean and dry. It is slowly healing. But no naughty thoughts because if blood rushes down there the 3/4 cuts bloody sting

Anyone else done this? Any advice. Probably more a question for guys than girls

Brighton - even Hove!

I wouldn't have bothered with antiseptic as that kills white blood cells as well as any unwanted bacteria. Not much you can do - keep the area clean and dry, let some air get to the cuts. Better luck next time!

Been there and done that myself - as above keep it clean and dry.

I avoid it now by never using a brand new razor down there and shaving in the shower under hot running water. Never a cut or rash since

Derby

Always start of with an electric thingie. Like a Philips Bodygroom. The hair fp goes back fast so close shaving of no benefit until the day of the meet. Stick to close electric most of the time and blade once you're more skilled much safer and easier.

Just had more thoughts on this subject as my wife is keen on a zero hairy cock / balls policy. If you ever cut any part of your under growth DO NOT use that second skin spray down there that hurts more than the pains described iny original post and they were really bad!

At the end of the day be careful, it's a jungle out there lol

Always use a brand new razor - no bacteria present!

Not quite on topic, but never, under any circumstances, put Vick on your nose while suffering with a cold and then scratch newly shaved areas without first washing your hands more thoroughly than I did

Why do men have to do this in the first place. Why can't a man just be a man and be bloody hairy. Trimmed is fine but all off is not a pretty site in my opinion.

Because some of us prefer to do so as some women do. I wouldn't say it was any less manly to shave downstairs or anywhere else but your opinion is valid. Each to their own i guess

Glasgow

Treat it like a cut on the chin. Tissues till the worst stops, then a styptic (sp) pencil - push hard.

Then just fresh air. Try not to scratch or rub.

I shave my arm pits too.

Have shaved down there too a couple of times with trimmer but everytime i shave, it make more/denser hair grow on other parts i.e. face,back... especially speeds the growth rate of facial hair...

I like to be cleaned shaven on face and would like to be tidy down there too but stuck in this dilema, to trim or not to trim ?

No no no!!

Antiseptic creates an inhospitable barrier to prevent further infection getting into the wound. The white blood cells delivered in the blood are not significantly affected. The anti sceptic does not penetrate the cells of the wound.

Follow this logic and salt water bathing is harmful too.

Central

Also, refrain from cutting chillies, and then touching yourself down there, unless you have made a substantial effort to clean your hands.

Wear natural fabrics, when dressed, to allow good air circulation. Sudocrem can help with the healing of minor abrasions etc.

electric clippers, ball sack fold.....

I'm sure you can imagine the blood bath of horror that ensued.

my Ex was a fantastic help about it though, she stood at the bath room door laughing her arse off before taking a photo of me lying there in the fetal position cupping my poor boys and sent it to her mates who we were going out with that night

I use a small battery operated microfoil shaver. I apply a lot of baby oil and powder first. For me, this is much better than a blade. It only takes a few minutes and I don't cut myself.
