We're looking for a Spa Hotel with character and a room with a 4 poster bed.

Ideally in the West Mids / Gloucester area.

For a Sunday night in middle of December.

Any recommendations?

Stapleford Park in Leics is gorgeous, but pricey! X

Hore cross hall or Fairlawns are both great spa hotels, think hore cross would have the more characterful rooms

There is a website devoted to breaks at spas.

I don't think we can post links but look up spa breaks and it comes up

There a Marriott one called Breadsall Priory in Derbyshire which is quite good. Also have a look at Clover Sp if you like being nude!
