Yes my internet is from bt and now have to have bt.com as home page. Hate it as all favourite links on yahoo. Goodness knows why they changed it.

Chester-ish

we also have bt internet although have had google as our main home page for a very long time,

as for why they changed it well things move on and need updating and with that sometimes its just easier to scrap the whole thing all though a little warning could have been nice for you both I am sure.

In a crisp poke on the A814

Used to be BT but changed to virgin....

Got email explaining I would no longer be able to use my BT email, and it was changing as you described....

Then got email saying it was ok, and could still use my BT email..

NO changes here, still have Yahoo.com as home page and still able to access and see at glance any mail I have....

It may have something to do with Sky going in partnership with Yahoo from Google???

Or may not

BT and Yahoo have parted company and so BT is trying to take on the email service they previously outsourced.

Its mainly the BT email for those who don't have a BT account, the rest should not change much at all.

For instance, if you have a Talk21 account, that needs to move. It was an old attempt at competing with Hotmail.

The tough part is bringing over the disposable addresses if you used them. They are very Yahoo.

However, this morning I received a note from BT that they were not changing ....

Thanks for this .

I thought it was spam , I tend to ignore stuff from BT since the last time I replied to an email from them people were calling me asking why I needed thousands of euros to get out of Spain or somewhere.
