Been asked to find out whether you can hide the camera icon. If that makes sense to anyone.lol.

If you're on cam in chat, you're permitting anyone in the room to view your cam (rule 1, I think).

The only way to over-ride this, is to individually block the profiles who you do NOT want to be able to view your cam. However, that also means that you/they can't see each others text in the chatroom.
