Hey I am looking for advice, I have had a few meets on here now and they went really well, I am just wanting to ask how to start a first message to get a reply

There's no magic formula!!

Try being yourself - personal messages are always far more interesting than something someone sees all the time!

Take the time to actually read their profile and include things you may have taken from that!

How hard can it be? People are able to start conversations with total strangers in pubs and cafes with absolutely no info on the person yet here, where there's a common interest + a bit of background info + photographs, they find it difficult.

As above. Don't fall into the trap of coming up with a good message for one and the using it again and again.

It's time consuming tailor making the message to the profile but it shows effort which will get you noticed.

Throw in some humour and patience and see what happens. You don't seem to be doing too bad anyway.

I once, as a first message, sent that I like to chop down trees and wrestle bears, that I had a big beard and ate nothing but steak.

Their profile was asking for real men.

I am either sending silly stuff like that or general how are you type stuff.

I reckon I've got a 50% reply ratio!

Don't copy my way, it's rubbish
