Do not use sounds if there is any ongoing pain on passing urine, frequency of urination, discharge or blood in the urine ..... straight to GU clinic or GP. Ensure that the sounds are 'sterilised' (soap and water clean, dishwasher then Milton or dilute bleach solution with a rinse immediately before use in freshly boiled water) before use and that you don't then park them on the bed sheets; use a sterile surface or disposable medical pack. Don't, like all toys, use them on more than one partner even if you are cleaning and 'sterilising' them Are you fully confident that they are stainless steel? If they are a Chinese import you may have what seems to be a shiny stainless steel sound which is actually chromium plate over something else; chromium and nickel are not metals that you want in contact with urethral mucosa.
