How do you go about getting invited to one of these events?

My fella has been before in a previous relationship and has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I'd like to try them, little bit put out i can't manage to host one ourselves because of family commitments but hope to when circs change.

Any advice?

Pop in chat rooms, always people talking about house parties and openly inviting people. Take a look at boxchasers profile they got party coming up soon

as has been said, keep an eye on the meets section

also the uk and meets bit on the forum.

we sometimes host parties, but they are soft play, not sure you would be interested.

but we are fairly often invited to parties, which we cant attend.

suppose its just a case of getting your name known in party circles.

from what I have found of these - the people that put these things together are basically pimping out the women and couples that go.

I may be generalising heavily (and its probably more on the gang bang side rather than party side)) though when you add all the factors up it only points to one outcome.

The women/couples do not pay anything to attend these parties/gb. Instead the guys cough up £30-50 to cover hotel costs. Reasonablish really, but. And its a big BUT. When you get there, there are upwards of 20 guys - all paying 30-50 quid and maybe 4 women/couples -- now no hotel room costs more than £200 for the night, but these party folks are taking £1k plus..

Quite lucrative really and to unassuming people - easily caught out on what essentially a sale of sex.

Though, as I say the party scene would probably be different.

I've hosted odd pvt parties in the past. Personally i think they are the best way to meet, chat and slowly flow into the night. As you know the people their would of met others before so are trusted and don't cause shit.

Best to fully ask what the rules are party wise. As if everyone is full swap and your soft, best to know before you cross the door mat.

Usually everyone just wants the same, a nice safe comfortable environment and see where the night leads you.

Can't beat BBQ partys during the summer and know my neighbours can't perv at the nawtyness on view, as that wouldn't be neighbourly

We have been to many great parties hosted by fantastic couples and singles.

My advice would be to browse the meets in your area and introduce yourselves through a mail.

For us once we had attended our first party, the invites came frequently. .

We prefer larger parties than small intimate ones as they are less pressure. And if you don't click with anyone you will meet some lovely people.

We only have one rule regards to parties and that's a guest list is issued. Purely so we don't bump into our ex's whilst socialising. You just never know....lol

dunno what parties you are looking at, but we have never, and will never, charge for ours.

they cost us probably between £50-£100 a time to host a party, what with food and drink and the like, and never look for anything off people.

they bring a bottle sometimes, but as long as people come with an open mind, respect party boundaries and are up for a giggle, then they are more than welcome

yep - it's more with gang bang type meeets than parties as I say, but still horrendous. I've been swinging for years and was caught out.

I see a lot of group meets posted and expect that when they are at someones home, there wouldn't be a 'cost' like those setting them up at hotels or supposed penthouses.

Just putting it out there.

I'm still sickened about it being honest, even if I did walk out with my money (which he didnt want to give back) lol

We have only been to one party and it was couples only and no charge. We took a bottle and had a lovely time. We were invited out of the blue and although we usually only go to clubs for a first meet we decided to give it a go. Glad we did. Might do it again if the right couple invite us. . . .

i'd try and avoid gangbangs at hotels. As you might get someone complaining about the noise and wishing they was there.

The last thing you what is hotel staff knocking on your door and then you explaining why so many naked people are in your room and sum covered in chocolate paste.

well, to be fair, if we organised things at a hotel then yes, we would probably want a contribution towards the cost of things.

but i have to pay for the house anyway, so its not really an out of pocket expense.

the thing thats really puzzling, though, is, when we first started thinking of throwing these parties, there were many posts about a lack of places for softies to go and play, without feeling they had to go further, so we thought we would, almost, provide a soft swing environment, for likeminded people to come and ahve, no further pressure, fun.

however, most of the people we ahve ever had come to them have been full swap couples lol.
