I have a few pics on display, but I just can't see why I am not attracting the men I am looking for.

Can someone please give me some clues as to where I might be lacking?

Look for what you want instead of waiting for it to find you. If you're not confident with first messages maybe wink and if they wink back you know there is a mutual interest so sending that first message will then be easier x

The tone is nice. A bit too verbose. It's an essay..chop it down. I tried, but I just couldn't be bothered to get to the end. And I'm a girl. Guy's attention spans tend to be shorter!

I'm just wondering how many guys you have actually made the effort to message? Many females tend to just plough through the countless messages that us males send them. Try being proactive (if indeed you haven't yet) and try messaging some of the guys that you like the profile of. At least then, you are in control of your own 'sexual destiny'
