One good firm for accommodation is Agence Genevieve Naturisme.

If nothing else, their brochure is brill.

we were going to look at there for next year, but wasnt sure whether it would be a little too full on for us (this is a hobby not a lifestyle so not sure a 'swinging based holiday' would be appropriate

For all the reputation it has, it needn't be full on if you don't want it to be.

Yes, there's pretty much 24x7 nudity save at the evening meal when some of the ladies like to dress up a bit, but you can spent your entire holiday and not spot anyone else having sex, unless you go looking for it.

Don't be put off. Give it a go.

If I might offer two bits of unasked for advice.

If there's a not so sunny day, go offsite and visit the town.

If you're going to risk the real world, mug up on a few French words and phrases. Johnny Foreigner really appreciates it.

Best time to go? That would depend on what you want, and your budget. If you are wanting the resort in full swing (pun intended) then it has to be July/August. We have been a couple of times in early June and apart from the weekends the place is a bit quiet, with some bars and clubs not opening mid week at all. We now much prefer early July.

Two bedroom apartments are available but can be quite expensive, most are small one bedroom/studio type and for July and you can expect to pay 600/800 euro for a week.

As someone says above the campsite within the village is large and for more info search "Rene Oltra"

August can be REALLY hot and is the main French holiday month. That means families and that means the cops are understandably a bit stricter about what activity they'll tolerate in public.

Yes fair comment. and try not to be on the motorway during the Bastille day weekend in mid July (as we were this year) total bloody chaos. Took us over 4 hours to the Spanish border, a journey we normally do in an hour.
