Myself and OH are looking to head 'south of the border'

Compared to scotland, England has lots of choice re clubs...

We don't know where to start!!

All and any advice re clubs, hotels etc would be gratefully received.

Ideally clubs within a 4 hour drive from scotland would be great.

Any tips for us newbies?

There is a clubs tab at the top of the page. Click on it, clubs are listed in areas. Select a club use the hyperlink to view the club. Also in forums there is a clubs link where you can read comments & see reviews. Xx

Thank you, we have had a look, but there's so many, that by the time we have looked at a few, we've forgotten which ones looked good.

Suppose we are just looking to see if anyone fancies recommending an area or club etc to get us started

Sheffield

La Chambre is a great club for newbies.

It's on Attercliffe Common which has a liberal sprinkling of budget hotels as it's near the sheffield arena, though the prices rocket when a big draw is playing the arena.

Newcastle and Gateshead

rather than going "that far" down south, lots of scots do come down to club f which is just outside of newcastle....

one of the advantages is that is does have rooms on site where you can stay over, so no need to worry about hotels....

If you get as far as Manc land - try Cupids! Very welcoming!!

And if you venture further south then give xtasia a bash - especially if its a party night! They have a deal with the Prem Inn next door for cheap rooms and a dedicated 'swingers' floor!!

Happy clubbing!!

Chameleons at Darlaston is a lovely club with a Travelodge not too far away.

I would suggest googling sexinthecities and grabbing a copy of their book, or you can get them on here under the name clubpartypeeps.

The book is an excellent companion to those who are doing some travelling and want to hit different types of clubs in different areas

Look at everyone recommending their local club lol

We have been to rather a lot and local to us the best is Cupids although Chameleons in Darlaston tops it.

For a dirty weekend away Infusions in Blackpool is convenient due to the amount of local accommodation.

As for suggestions

If you get as far as sheffield La Chambre is an experince being a multi level club with everything under one roof and generally well attended.

If you get to Stoke way AtlantisEvolution is very highly regarded.

Liberty Elite (if you can get there on a busy night) is an option, The VA and then you get into London for Ourplace4fun.

I have also left out about 10 clubs people would recommend :P

Off the top of my head there is also Xtasia, tease2, Eurekas, Chameleons that are all worth a visit (based on feedback) too!

Dont forget to take ID (passport/proof of address) and make sure you have fun!
