Real life meets

Whats the trick to getting a real life meet? Most meets i try and sort out end up me being ready waiting for a message or text last min. I can only meet for a few hours but i only meet if i really can.

Tell me about it! I find guys are really really keen and then when you suggest an actual time/day they go quiet. Annoying

Keep trying. And turn up when a meet is agreed on. Sometimes you'll meet the person, and sometimes they don't turn up or cancel at the last minute. Or there is the intention to meet and then the interest peters out.

Just keep trying. I learned a lot in these past months.

Same as me, I chat to women alot here then when it comes down I say when shall we meet then you hear nothing from them lol.

I've found this as well!

They either want to meet right now (not how I do things and stated in profile) Or they get cold feet and go all quiet after something has been arranged, I've had a few cancellations/no show's over the years, but I always had a inkling they would happen! So I've never been sat waiting for them, still annoying though

Exactly. Ideally they're typing those messages one handed and as soon as they've shot their bolt they lose.interest.

I'd love to be able to get a meet in the first place lol but if I did arrange one id be outside waiting for them if we was going anywhere or ringing there door bell with a bottle of something if not haha

So girls if your looking for someone that will meet as arranged drop me a line haha I'll be waiting

Sometime stuff happens and sometimes you bump into fantasists but sometimes it all goes so well that you forget about the former. Take a long term _iew and if on balance it's more bad than good then sod it and take up gardening

Wow, real meets FFS we have been let down 3 times in one night. Loads of build up all 3 knew the score, one I was even going to collect and drop off.

That ended home meets and now clubs only for the first meet.

Try meeting at a club or out dogging, that way when someone doesn't show, there are plenty of other fish swimming about.

Also, you can cut down on the risk, by only meeting people within a realistic distance, already verified, who offer their contact number, sell their soul for the chance to meet you and people who have plausible ideas about how they want the night to go.

Personally, if my selection process was such that I was constantly being stood up (three times in one night?!! ) I'd change it!

In six years never had a no show, never had my time wasted. Some people have no intention of meeting, they get their kicks winding people up.

Life happens and people have to cancel, I however never reschedule. It takes time and effort for me to agree to meet. If I then agree and the social meet is cancelled for whatever reason: that's it!

I've seen people post they've given several chances and still no meet: some people do bring things on themselves!

How about this scenario: someone approaches you, you look at the profile and the very appreciative veris and you are interested, agree on a social meet where you will travel most of the distance, and then weeks later the scheduled meeting doesn't happen because there is too much mileage involved (which you were prepared to cover for the most part). Why start the whole thing in the first place? *Am lost*
