We are new to this and received a message from a single f looking to meet....the conversation seemed good over the messages on here....then once arrange, the profile (which was as a couple apparently she had recently split...) has gone and no further contact....do I go to the meet or is this a learning curve and I've been tricked?.....this was my first time ive had the confidence to respond to anyone let alone arranged to meet and now I have no idea what to think!!

I wouldn't go without any other means of contact. Understand why sometimes people would delete a profile after arranging a meet as I used to do it but never without exchanging phonenumbers first

If the person has gone think it's safe to say so has the meet. I think the fact your asking you know that already, but don't worry that's fab but pick yourself up and you'll find what your looking for

If it was a couple profile & you were only just meeting the female (as she had recently split) it may be that the other half of the couple has closed the account. See if you can find her with a single female profile.

Was she verified ? if not you should have taken steps to verify "she" was real, get her on skype, get her mobile number at least ring her.

This sort of stuff will happen a lot until you make sure the person is real before you take it further.

I think this was a big learning curve....I was slightly suspicious to begin with. The profile was only a few weeks old, turned out that she didnt live where it stated and not verified...

damn....

it appears im free for a coffee morning next week!!

Start your search with profiles that are verified first until you get a better feeling for spotting a "fake" I would suggest
