Used some magic powder yesterday

Very pleased - left on for correct time and all worked well however have woken with tender skin and a slight burning.

Can anyone recommend a good cooling cream ?

Did use aftersun moisturiser before anyone asks !!

Opt for the sensitive one and get the premixed tube - it's still called magic powder even though it's a cream!

First I've heard this ..how good is it, are results permanent??

I've always though smoothness is only for those able to fork out expensive laser treatment..

Does this powder affect pigmentation.... Does it work on sensitive areas without causing harm??

It's used by many afro Caribbeans instead of shaving as it is less likely to cause ingrown hairs than shaving on curly hair. So it's ok on pigmented areas.

It's not permanent but the results last longer than shaving.

If you live anywhere near an afro caribbean shop many have it in stock.

The powder needs to be mixed which can be fiddly so if you can get the cream (which is still called magic powder

) it's a lot easier.

Like any hair removal product..if skin tender and burning/sore then isnt the one use on your skin!

is case of trying different types.

i brought the mild sensitive cream and left on for recommended time of 6 mins and its not removed anything. just put it on again and going to leave longer.

any ideas why its not removed anything

Just leave whatever one you bought on for as long as you can stand the so called burn ??..

Think i have became ammune to it now - i leave mine on for an hour and feel nothing..
