Maybe a cooling wet cloth or covered ice-pack may help. Do not have too hot a bath or use any bubblebath in it, it should ease off. xxx

Take a warm bath with un perfumed dead sea salts, or epsom salts if you can't get dead sea.

Then before your party apply some pure shea butter or solid coconut oil to the area.

Never waxed it as it would be too painful so I don't know. I prefer to keep mine shaven. It's less painful and you don't need to let it grow back in again (as you would if you were waxing)

Highly recommended for intimate waxing is something called Lycon wax. It is only available in selected salons and is more expensive. Well worth it though as its almost painfree and leaves absolutely no "chicken skin" or rash. Also fewer problems as it grows back.

Could i recommend SoftSheen Carson Magic Razorless cream shave? WOW fantastic stuff, i wax and it works great for me but i takes ages between waxing (you have to wait till the hair is long enough to re-wax), i tryed shaving (OUCH) major razor burn! and that bloody Veet stuff is rubbish (just didnt work on my pubes) but this stuff IS magic! its for Black men to maintain a bald head/face with out razor bumps (i'm thinking razor burn) works a treat on the old pubic area. go look on the bay of e, cheap as chips too

Afterwax lotion, this is fantastic and very soothing. Nothing perfumed within 24 hours as this can infect or irritate the open pores as can a hot bath, hence why when people do this they get a lovely red, raised plucked chicken look.

Maybe next time do it more than 24 hours before. Or pay me to do it instead? x x

it will fade and calm down afer a few hours of being done

i always wax so so much better and lasts longer

try not using any lotions or potions and dont shower til next morning this is what irritates

it gets so much easier the more you do it so make sure you keep it up

Try a little 1% hydrocortisone cream on the red bits afterwards.Mild steroid cream and will settle redness 24-48hrs...just dont tell the chemist what you are going to use it for

You want to start using veet, you only apply with your fingers and left it for about 10 mins and then take a shower and all the hair will come off. Iidoes not itch or get sore. Me and by hubby swear by it.
