So I put on profile I'm curvy. I'm size 18 with 40dd's. I've never been slim and always been criticised bullied insulted Etc for my size and shape. On here I get lots compliments and guys say I'm not curvy but sexy,feels amazin but then in life/dating sites and odd idiots on here say no I'm not curvy I'm fat and or ugly. People wonder why there's so many un confident people with no self esteem it's because of this. The online insults no longer bother me as I know plenty people find me attractive. Just shame people feel need to put others down x

Good on u!! I think to an extent it's also women who pass judgement if a woman is more than size 12 they are thought of as the fat friend. It's only in the last year I've got 4 good female friends give me lots confidence always saying how gorgeous I look xx

Ive never been told on here im fat and ugly. I tell myself that lol. We all are what we are - curvy, ample, slim, only we can change it if we want to. Im trying to lose weight, im over 16 stone and think im fat. Ignore those who are rude and ignorant and move on to those who appreciate a curvy body - from what I can see there are lots. Have fun

I actually am a size 18 and often have been insulted or insulted myself recently I was meeting someone here who would have complimented steady. I found these hard to take as i was two stone heavier then but u know wat I am a big and very beautiful lady regardless of wat anyone has to say...x

Absolutely everybody is beautiful in their own way, it's just that not everyone see's what other people see. Not everyone can find everyone else attractive but there's no need to focus on perceived negatives.

Im a big curvy girl too and think you look great!!!! Confidence is what makes us sexy I believe and I refuse to let small minded people dent mine in any way. There is so much more to me than a dress size. Funniest incident I had on here was following a msg from a guy saying how very much he loved larger ladies. After I said a very polite "no thank you" he sent a torrent of abuse about my weight. Go figure!!! Pun intended! Be proud....youre gorgeous!!

I don't see the big deal with choosing the body type, as long as there are photos then a person can make their own call on what they think of your body...and if they don't like it, just move on! I'm a size 16/18 with J cup boobs and I have my body type as curvy, if someone took offence to the way I describe myself I would say they lead a blessed life if they have little else to get so riled about

They try to get u where they think it hurts "sticks and stones" they usually have a go at my age after they have spent several messages convincing me "age is but a number".

Let's face it - people make judgements on here based on the written word (and numbers of course!!).

Body size, age, boob/cock measurement, height etc - but if all were removed and all you had to go on was a picture - you'd make your decisions based on your own perceptions.

A bit like meeting in a club or face to face!

If folk are that hung up on profile descriptions - just remember one thing!

People fib and have their own views on what a specific definition of a word means - pictures rarely lie! (Assuming no photoshop and aren't 20 yrs old!

I would say that for me personally it's all about the chemistry as much as the visual. I've had girlfriends etc who are various sizes but we've had a spark so body image for me didn't really come into it. But if I were to receive an offer & I wasn't interested then I'd be very polite about it.

As for firing abuse at someone who happens to be a different body shape,especially if the person has been ignored or turned down,well that's just cruel & bullying. Sadly a lot of guys in general think it's ok to do this type of thing & ruins it for the nicer ones.

thanks everyone. Seems to be with fab for every 1 idiot who insults makes rude comments or doesn't find me attractive theres 20 good ones who like my looks. Exactly as it should be,the horrible ones should be the minority who get blocked etc. shame guys on dating sites or in clubs don't agree with fab guys.

We are who we are I have a beer belly I still can do exercises and my core work out is second to none. I'm 220lbs and one lady call me fat. Different stroke for different folk. I happen to like curves on women. I think it part of being a woman and man is our own body structures. We have club for women like u and men who like women like yourself. U fine.

Think ur both right in some ways. Plenty of people on fab or even just d*unk in a nightclub at 2am will sleep with whoevers on offer but when it's daytime n have to think of actually dating that person intro them to friends n family for any number of reasons they wouldn't be partner material

When I was an athlete and still looked like one I described myself as Athletic.

Now that I feel my shape has altered and I don't feel I look athletic I describe myself as Curvy.

Although my size is 14 top and 10/12 bottom I see myself as curvy.

To us being curvy doesn't mean you have to be sized in the late teens upwards, it's more about body shape than size.

I know I'm overweight and doing something about it. I don't like to be called fat but I don't call slim women any other name either just like I don't call anyone else on this site names. Reading this thread I am so shocked that some of you have received insulting messages. I am a BBW.... It is plainly stated on my profile. And yet I haven't received any insulting comments at all. I think it's awful if you have received comments.

We are all different, whether ample, fabulous, average or slim. I think at the end of the day it's how you see yourself. Be happy with who you are, because the shallow people that make insulting comments will never be truly happy xx

Well said Claire, when I was growing up (some might say I've not yet!) I used to think that I wanted a slim woman and she would make me happy, but I soon realised that it's not true.

It's about what's on the inside and beauty comes in all different forms. xxx

I am a size 18 with lumps bumps, stretch marks (from children) I found it hard to accept but after all the compliments, fabbed pics and great meets I realise I'm normal, attractive and sexy.... not everyones' cup of tea but accepted by most.

the most liberating thing I did recently was swimming naked on holiday in the early hours, felt amazing having the water lap over my curves, thinking of going naturist now.

Curvy is where you still have the hourglass shape in my opinion. Anything else is fat,there's no point trying to tart it up to make people feel better ! Doesn't matter what "category" someone puts theirself in if the other person/s find them sexy it doesn't matter does it ?

No need to change from curvy to busty, to many people being curvy means going in and out in all the right places.

You can still be slim but curvy,body shape is what its all about.

There is a body shape like opposite of pear but can't think what it is. Curvy to me Is open to interpretation. Some people tell me I'm fat others say sexy and curvy others say average then others say I'm takin piss sayin I'm average. Can't win lol xx
