I think it is because some see it as a purely sexual thing. Men dressed as women only do it to be seen as a slut etc. A lot of the TV profiles I have read have annealing these lines.

Women wearing trousers don't often do so to act like a man. They do it for practical reasons.

When I started dressing and going to clubs I thought it that people would think it wierd.But met other tgirls guys and woman and they treated me nice.Told a couple of friends(not in the scene) when I was d*unk.They seemed to be ok with it.I guess its each to their own x

I think ur right people think its about being a slur and sexual thing. I find wines clothes more concord espically nice thongs. But nightes to sleep in are more confie. Also dresses in this wear are so much cooler

Personally i dont thinks its weird at all.

However when women wear means clothes its usually just a hoodie or a trackie trousers etc.

When a man wears womens clothes its usually the dress up type of attire and not just a pair of womens jeans and a top which i dint think anyone would bat an eyelid at.

From a personal standpoint, i see it as a bit weird mainly because women's clothes haven't been adapted for men to wear quite like men's clothes have for women.

Obviously a reflection of society's push back against the patriarchy, but still. You look at a woman wearing a man's clothes and vice versa, and the former USUALLY looks way better than the latter. The one that makes me cringe is when guys put on female underwear.

Whatever floats your boat though. The above are just my personal opinions

I don't find it weird each to their own. If you like dressing as a woman then crack on. What I don't like is tv,s calling them selves a lady or girl. You aren't your a guy dressed as one. But I suppose its part of the fantasy. Still don't like it tho

I have yet to see a woman dress as a man for sexual reasons as the above mentions it's more for comfort or practicality. We don't find tv ts weird at all although some cd to us are a total turn off.

Each to their own. There are now companies that specialise in making lingerie designed for men. Just do a search and you'll find it.

May sound a bit daft here but loads of nice different undies for men just look at most sex shops online. As for dresses cut for men wouldn't they just look awful as a dress looks the way it does because of its cut. All women have different body shapes so would just be a case of finding the right style for your frame

Wouldn't turn down a meet as such just because it is one of their interests. Met one single guy that enjoys cross dressing with the right people.

Not actually weird but seen as weird by some who are uncomfortable with what's seen as sexual uncertainty. Men, in particular, don't like that.

As for cross-dressing. Does wearing heavy tights where the temperature stays well below zero for weeks on end count as cross-dressing?

I think Evie hit the right button in the first place, most crossdressers and some transvestites I know, seem to be doing it entirely for sexual purposes rather than a lifestyle choice, and it's that aspect that some members of the fab and general community find hard to come to terms with.
