"It was in the Press last week that since the Licence has run out with the original manufacturer (Pfizer, I think!), other companies can now make and distribute it legally. It is expected that within a few weeks it will be readily available in all major High Street pharmacies for as little as 60p a tablet, without the need to be on prescription," Coming off patent ought not to make any difference to Viagra being a prescription only medicine. " and more importantly, it could spell an end to the so-called substitutes available on the black market. " I can't see it making any difference to availability of black market/ kill you with no comeback alternatives. Someone will always try to undercut the going rate. It's happening with 'legal' highs right now and will happen with so called 'Viagra'.

" I can't imagine them being put just on the shelf for general consumption. Id imagine you will have to go to a pharmacy and they will be kept behind the counter, and your have to answer questions on your general health because of the risks involved in taking them.

"Morning after pill used to be prescription but has been available from pharmacists for a few years now. Viagra isn't really any different than any other drug you can buy from a pharmacy and probably less harmful than many. I will be quite happy to see it on the shelf when I need a little pick me up!" you still have to have a check up to get the morning after pill.. I don't get why healthy men see the need to risk their health to get hard.

"As far as I'm aware they are still POM though as still a dangerous med if you have certain conditions x" I don't think I'd be allowed to post the link to this and I'm sure people could find it for themselves but.......... Medication for erectile dysfunction (ED), also known as impotence, is available on the NHS if: •you have a specific medical condition •you’re having, or have had, a particular medical treatment •your ED is causing severe distress and a specialist prescribes medication for you If you don’t qualify for ED medication (known as PDE-5 inhibitors) on the NHS, your GP can still prescribe the medication but you will have to pay the full cost for it. Read more information about treatments for ED, including lifestyle changes that could help. Who can get medication for erectile dysfunction on the NHS? You’re eligible for an NHS prescription for ED medication if you have: •diabetes •diabetes •multiple sclerosis •Parkinson’s disease •polio •prostate cancer •a severe pelvic or spinal injury •spina bifida •certain genetic conditions, such as Huntington's disease You can also get ED medication on the NHS if you’ve had any of the following treatments: •pelvic surgery •surgical removal of the prostate gland (prostatectomy) •dialysis for kidney failure •kidney transplant

"+ A specialist can also prescribe medication for ED on the NHS if your condition is causing you severe distress. People entitled to PDE-5 inhibitors on NHS prescriptions only need to pay the prescription charge. If you are entitled to free NHS prescriptions, then it will not cost you anything. Read more about help with prescription costs. If your GP prescribes ED medication but you’re not eligible for it on the NHS, you will have to pay the full price for your treatment. Avoid buying erectile dysfunction drugs on the internet It may be possible to buy ED medication on the internet, but this is not recommended. These medications are not regulated and the amount of active ingredients in them can vary. They could cause unpleasant side effects or may not be suitable for you. Also, treatment for ED depends on what’s causing it. If ED is caused by a medical condition, treating this condition may resolve the problem. Therefore, if you think you have symptoms of ED, it’s important to see your GP. " Have we been reading the same info? Ha x

"Anyone near Peterborough has any available ? Get in touch ! " At the risk of repeating myself. If you NEED Viagra, go to your GP. If you don't need them, don't take them - regardless of the source. Sorry to be Frank but I struggle to believe these 'buy black market Viagra' threads are tolerated here. Would Fab have the same laissez-faire attitude to people wanting to buy mephedrone or naphyrone?

"why people asking if anyone can get them cheap or in certain areas.... sheesh.... they are in boots for 2.50 each, just go to your go get a prescription and then just get a repeat..... it is that simple...." It's not quite that simple. You have to go to the erectile dysfunction clinic at Boots. Then "The Erectile Dysfunction Clinic gives you an opportunity to have a one-to-one conversation with a pharmacist trained in erectile dysfunction to see how they can help you. Here's what will happen: •You'll book an appointment for an initial, confidential consultation with a trained ED Boots pharmacist. •The pharmacist will check your blood pressure, heart rate, total cholesterol, random glucose measurement, waist measurement and body mass index (BMI) to check your general health. You may be asked to return for a fasting blood glucose test. •If this service is suitable for you, you can be supplied with the appropriate medication. •You'll be able to access repeat supplies of your medicine, by booking further appointments with your ED trained pharmacist."
