Single Men on Fab: Is This a Common Experience?

Cardiff

I have to admit, I'm finding this a very difficult scene to get into as a single man.

I'm interested to know whether other single men have had similar experiences, or whether mine is unusual. I know there are plenty of people who have had much more positive experiences, which is great. People are welcome to disagree or not like what I say, but that doesn't change the fact that this has been my experience.

I've been on the site for around six months and have kept working on my profile to improve it, with the kind advice of Fab members. I've also been to several socials to prove I'm real and not just another fake profile.

For me, messaging on here has felt almost pointless. I take the time to write tailored messages based on someone's profile or most recent update rather than sending a dick pic or simply asking to fuck. Sadly, it seems to make little difference. Most messages go unread or are simply deleted.

I completely understand that couples and single women receive a huge number of messages, but it can still be frustrating from the other side. When you spend time writing a genuine message just to be ignored, after a while you start wondering why you bother.

The socials haven't really been fun for me either. Don't get me wrong, everyone I've spoken to has been friendly, so this isn't a criticism of them, not for one moment.

One problem is that the venues are usually bars with loud music. My hearing isn't great, so having a proper conversation is difficult.

It can also feel a bit like being back at school, with established groups naturally sticking together, which can make it very hard as a newcomer to join in or feel included.

I did hit it off with one person on here, but it became clear that I was more interested in them than they were in me, which is absolutely fair enough. In the end, though, I got tired of doing all the chasing. It has to work both ways.

After a while, you inevitably start to question your own value when you keep putting yourself out there but get little or nothing back. It isn't great for your confidence or your mental wellbeing. I'm not saying that's everyone's experience, but it has certainly been mine.

I'd genuinely be interested to hear whether other single men have had similar experiences, or whether you've found approaches that work better. I'd also be interested in hearing from couples and single women about how it looks from your perspective, as I'm sure there are things I haven't considered.

As a couple we do get lots of messages from single men.

We generally interact more with someone who sends a thought out introduction message, maybe mentioning something from our profile, it tells us that you've taken the time to read it.

We also tend to message of you come across as respectful and polite.

Reading your profile, it comes over very much that you're a nice guy.

Maybe add a few more public pics? Hard to get an idea of someone with only 1 pic.

Keep at it, I'm sure you will find new friends. It's very single guy heavy on here, you've got your work cut out to be the one that stands out.

I've been on here for years, can count the number of play meets on one hand, but they have been worth it when they come. The more personal I make the messages the more likely they go unread, or appear to be unread.

I'm comfortable with them being read and deleted without reply, I know not everyone is into everyone else.

Then when the messages comes up saying "think, you have already messaged this person and didn't get a reply" you have to wonder if they read the original.

And to make it more confusing I have had the odd one I've sent again months after and got chatting too.

It's mostly men on here pretending to be women or couples, just look at the forums for who starts most of the topics and how bi everyone suddenly is when its only guys talking.

Just dont take it too seriously, try not to annoy people, and block all those who aren't your type or have said not for me

Yours is not a unique experience of fab, you can search and read profiles, ones you feel a connection or similarities to, you may even reach out and message them. While they suggest a unique message, and not cut / paste, it’s doubtful your receive any response.

Female and couples receive lots of messages, probably to many to open and read. So either open and ignore or delete.

I’m sure there’s another site, that is the go to now, but Iv not found it.

It can be disheartening to see a female / couple read their profile and check out there photos to then not receive anything back once you reach out.

I think clubs are a better method, but again depends on the club and day of your attendance.

Good luck though

This experience is pretty universal although your mileage may vary and it's not like it's a new thing.

And yes, verifications, pictures, good profile can help, but it's rarely worth sending messages, and if you do don't expect a quick reply.

Last social I went on, they only were able to get to my message 3 weeks after I sent it, due to the sheer volume they receive. That's universal amongst fab too.

Truer more than ever that your best bet of actually meeting, or having any interest, social or otherwise is actually at clubs or events.

I’ve been on here for around 10 years and have been to club nights, socials and arranged meets. Personally I find the majority of the time people in this lifestyle are more than welcoming and chatty and if you put your big boy pants on and make and effort to interact nobody is going to tell you to go away. From reading your post it’s like your pre thoughts about these things are going to affect any future socials etc. I won’t say getting replies on here is easy as in the past 3 years or so it’s absolutely got more difficult , timing and luck of sending a message plays a big part too.

Best of luck and just enjoy the social side as much as you can, there really are some lovely folk on here.

To be honest, you can't get into the scene as a single guy, because swinging is essentially an activity for couples. The best that you can hope for is that a couple will be looking for a single guy as part of their swinging lifestyle, but you still won't be a swinger.

If you understand that, you'll understand why your experience of the site is what it is.

Or you could just be one of the singles who use the web site for one on one hookups simply because it's free.

There is an extraordinary number of men, single or otherwise, here and a very small number of women. If a single woman wants no strings sex she can get it very easily without coming here. Speaking as the male half of this couple, one who was here many years ago as a single, if I was primarily looking for NSA with single women, this is the last place I would look. I had lots of success by being honest about what I was seeking on regular dating apps and in real life. I met a number of women who contacted me whose own profiles stated they were after LTRs. When I clarified that they were after something similar to me they explained that if they even hinted in their profile that they were up for NSA they would receive literally thousands of messsges along with unsolicited dick pics. Bizarrely, female friends on regular dating sites tell me some men still think dick pics are a winning way to succeed. I used this site to meet couples, with limited success to be fair, but like you, I was one of thousands looking for a small number of couples of whom an even smaller number would be interested in me. Couples have each other and for most bringing others into the bedroom is an occasional break from reality whereas for single men, or at least it was for me, it’s something you want to do all the time which creates another mismatch of desires. From a couples perspective, we play more at clubs and mainly with couples but do play occasionally with single men. When we do, we find them because it’s when we are away somewhere and want someone to join us at short notice for our pleasure. Everyone is different but we don’t care if they are hung like a horse, gorgeous looking, what colour they are or any of the other things men seem to think is think is the attribute they lack that stops them getting meets. We just look for a profile that conveys they are nice people, respectful, single, can accommodate and that’s about it apart from being bi which is specific to our wants. There are lots of things they could say in their profile text or in their pics which could put us off, but equally those things could appeal to others.

The truth is this site represents real life as much as anything else. Despite being a sex-site, the female of the species is still as selective and flaky as the real world. I don't bother with single women on here as the amount of choice and attention even the average one's get seems to entitle them to be as flaky and choosy as real life dating. Maybe stick to couples or even go to a club. People tend to be in the mood at clubs and more willing to give new men a chance.

Just a thought. Best of British, you'll need it!

It's because 99.9% of single males are on here for a quick wank while their mrs is at work so continually let single females, couples down this not only annoys them, and can unfortunately affect the confidence of women making them less likely to continue on here, it was well over 12 months before I managed to meet up with a couple on here and ironically it wasnt through the site that I met them.

I don't think that that's unusual. I think that most of the couples on here use it mainly to keep in touch with people they've already met, and rarely to make new contacts.

Yep I suspect your experience is the most common amongst single men. I’m sure when this site / community began it had pure intentions of bringing people together. But ultimately it is also a business. Much like regular dating apps, it thrives on desperate males willing to keep paying, on dumbfounded hope of meeting people.

Not everyone has the looks, physique or chat to play in this scene. The sheer numbers of single men on here makes it a buyers market. I liken it to the old lineup for football teams in school PE. The best will always get picked first.

If you keep trying, you will eventually get reply’s. If you’re nice, seem fun, eventually you will get to meet someone, but it truely is a numbers game.

Personally I’ve found it easier to meet ladies on regular dating apps, which at first, seemed absurd to me

Been on here for a few years had a few social meets and thats it. It seems the norm for us single blokes im afraid as there are to many so called singles that are not single just looking to have a wank while there gf is out then disappear after a while we all get tarnished with the same brush. I keep sending polite messages mentioning things in there profile I find interesting maybe one day i will get that meet.

Just to add I have had a couple of meets lined up only for the couple to cancel then block me. On one occasion I had even spoken with the couple on the phone on the day of the arranged meet I was suddenly blocked but the kind couple did call (she) to let me know they had a change of heart.

Just keep going who knows one day we both may get a meet on this site

This is a swingers site. Not a sex site. Even people replying have got that wrong.

Are you a swinger or part of a swinger couple, or are you another single man looking for sex?

If you are a swinger, then this site works exactly as it should. If you are another single man looking for free sex, then good luck with that

Single men and single women can be swingers.

If you’re looking for recreational sex with more than one person.

There are also a lot of shaggers on here, single people looking to hookup with single people. (Nothing wrong with that)

And there are an awful lot of spectators on here. People who set up accounts, to perv on those who are actually meeting. These are the ones who set up meetings, for the thrill of the chase, but never show. These profiles are too good to be true, because they are made up.

What can you do? Be honest, be genuine and be prepared for a long wait.

No. I'm saying that women are more naturally selective than men and when they have so much choice, single men on here find it nearly impossible to be selected, ffs.

That sort of defensive, daft reaction is exactly why I don't meet single women like you!

" I don't bother with single women on here as the amount of choice and attention even the average one's get seems to entitle them to be as flaky and choosy as real life dating."

Are you saying because uts a 'sex site' women shouldn't be selective and should just shag anyone that messages them?"

No. I'm saying that women are more naturally selective than men and when they have so much choice, single men on here find it nearly impossible to be selected, ffs.

That sort of defensive, daft reaction is exactly why I don't meet single women like you!

Peace."

I think it's safe to say that the feeling is extremely mutual.

Have a good day

I wouldn't want to speak for others experience but as a couple who get regular, if not masses of messages from men, we read them all.

If a message shows they've read our profile and have made a little effort in their message, if they're not for us we will politely decline.

Sadly, too many guys do seem to think it's a quick way to get a fuck just by making contact with our profile.

We're not being fussy, entitled or think we're a 8/10 when in 'real life' we're barely a 5. We just expect equal effort from anyone who contacts us (singles and couples) to that which we have put into our profile and photos.

Hi,

We sympathise, but the reality of the matter is, that the vast majority of couples have their settings set to no contact from single males. That isn’t limited to the site though. It happens at clubs as well. The problem is, that any female, regardless of being single or in a couple, immediately gets leapt on. Via the internet, or in a club. It is overwhelming.

We will happily invite single blokes to engage with us, but on our terms. That being said, we only meet people at clubs. Even couples have to do something extra to get our attention on the website.

When you meet somebody in person, you get so much more information. How they smell, how they move, and you feel their energy, or lack of it. You catch the twinkle in their eye.

I guess what I am saying is, “it isn’t you”. It is the fact that single blokes vastly outnumber every other demographic, and are keen to promote their own interests. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to realise that you are throwing yourself into a vast pool.

The fact that you make the effort to read people’s profile and write a personal message raises you above the majority already.

We don’t accept any messages from single blokes, and that is mostly because the messages sent have taken no effort whatsoever. “How’s you doin?”, “fancy a fuck?”, “nice tits”, are prefect examples. That gets you nowhere.

Maybe a club visit might suiit you? Even then it is an uphill battle. Think of it as applying for jobs. You might get an answer for every 100 applications.

Hope this helps.

"Single men and single women can be swingers. "

Sorry, but you're deluding yourself on that one. To be very blunt, the relationship of singles to swinging couples is a bit like groupies to rock bands. It doesn't matter how many people you shag, you're never going to be one of the band.

Many single people are lovely, and it's a lot of fun to have them around, but they aren't swingers, because in the modern world it's not enough to enjoy recreational sex with multiple partners to be a swinger - you have to have a partner who does the same, and you're happy about it.

That doesn't make singles inferior in any way, but it explains the dynamics on this site.

. "

An Interesting analogy! Whilst groupies may never have got to be one of the band, several became famous in their own right and went on to recording careers or jobs within the industry. Pamela Des Barres: Widely celebrated as the "Queen of the Groupies," was a dancer and singer in the Frank Zappa-produced group, The GTOs (Girls Together Outrageously).

Bebe Buell fronted bands, and eventually became a best-selling author with her 2001 autobiography, Rebel Heart: An American Rock 'N' Roll Journey. Cherry Vanilla had a post groupie career as David Bowie’s publicist and eventually became a recording artist and stage performer. I am not sure how any of that relates to the single men of Fab though. Maybe some have done a Yoko and split up a relationship and maybe a few more have brought some additional input to get some duos creative juices flowing, but I am guessing most are wondering why they can’t get past the bouncers despite being prepared to shag the drummer or even a roadie if necessary.

"I have to admit, I'm finding this a very difficult scene to get into as a single man."

I empathise; it's not easy for single men who do the right thing on here. Effort, energy, patience often goes 'unrewarded' as far as favourable outcomes are concerned.

"I know there are plenty of people who have had much more positive experiences, which is great."

Whilst it's not always been smooth sailing I'll humbly admit that I've had nothing but p+sitive experiences on here.

"...and have kept working on my profile to improve it, with the kind advice of Fab members."

I'm curious to enquire what on earth you have done to improve your profile after so many months and on the back of the advice you have received? Are you truly following through on the advice and making changes?

"I've also been to several socials to prove I'm real and not just another fake profile."

This is brilliant, keep at it and persevere.

"...messaging on here has felt almost pointless. I take the time to write tailored messages based on someone's profile or most recent update rather than sending a dick pic or simply asking to fuck. Sadly, it seems to make little difference. Most messages go unread or are simply deleted."

Clearly the odds are stacked against most men: there are far more singleton men trawling this site than women (and couples). Your message will be one of hundreds in their inbox and most women typically look at the profile first before even opening the message itself...assuming they feel inclined to do so. How articulate or good-natured your message is becomes a moot point.

Sometimes they are not enamoured by what they see when they look at the sender's profile.

"It can also feel a bit like being back at school, with established groups naturally sticking together, which can make it very hard as a newcomer to join in or feel included."

I agree with this: it can be nigh on impossible trying to break pre-existing bubbles.

ㅤㅤ

I think you need to really work on your profile and your photo gallery in the first instance. Try and participate in the forums; it's a great conduit for new acquaintanceships. Whatever you decide to do I wish you all the best. ⚜️

"I have to admit, I'm finding this a very difficult scene to get into as a single man.

I'd also be interested in hearing from couples and single women about how it looks from your perspective, as I'm sure there are things I haven't considered."

So this is Mr writing here. I previously held solo profiles on this site and others for many years before meeting the love of my life. I can tell you what worked for me; patience, respectful messages. Being willing to accept the power balance here is quite understandably in favour of women and couples, this means you cant feel entitled to a response, you should be prepared to send a face pic and take no's gracefully.

I did always do very well here and I cant relate massively to some of the stories other guys share. I know I am lucky but its worth remembering looks or a big dick arent a substitute for personality. My favourite fab meets were always with folks I connected with on more than a purely physical level.

Good luck. Mr Libs.

As a single guy I can sympathise to a certain degree with you.

First thing is look at your profile, does it show your personality, maybe add some humour to it. You have one public pic of your torso, you need to add more. Maybe add one of you in a suit or dressed smartly. Women and couples will skip by purely on the basis that you have 1 pic.

Socials are a great way to network and meet new people, whilst I agree that people can fall into their comfort groups, the emphasis is on you to circulate and speak to people, just because people are in a group chatting does not mean that they won't talk to you. Introduce yourself, say you are new, and thought you would say hello.

When you do get chatting to people keep the conversation light hearted, ask people about them, what they do for a living, what do they enjoy away from swinging etc just general conversation you would have meeting someone in the vanilla world.

If they are interested in you they will let you know.

I have made many good friends through swingers socials, the vast majority of them nothing physical has ever happened, but these people will introduce you to others where you will get together for naughtiness.

I very rarely message people on here these days as I have a big enough network of lifestyle friends to not need too, but it has taken me a long time to get to that point.

Remember this place is a bit like a casino with couples and single women being the house, and as we all know the house always wins. It is up to you to increase your odds in your favour.

We're very sympathetic to how single guys are regarded in 'the scene' D was one a while before we met, with reasonable results as I've seen 😉

However when we do open our filters occasionally because we are actively for a bi guy (feel that's explained sufficiently on our profile) the messages we receive disappoint him no end, cock pic's, want to fuck your Mrs, I'm listed as straight but really I'm bi and so on..

There's a lot of very decent guys here, some we've 'met' and others who we've had enjoyable banter and chats with.

But unfortunately there's a huge number who act like a horny teenager having found his first porn mag/site. X

We have found it to be the same as it's difficult to find a proper swinger single male rather than the mass of guys who have joined the site after seeing a media article and think it's a meat market and guaranteed shag. We tend to meet single males in clubs and monitor theor behaviour in the club before approaching them. This has paid dividends as we have found some really nice single guys who otherwise might have slipped through the net as it were.

I’m sure it’s been mentioned but I would say clubs are your best bet, especially event nights where the club will be busier.

Keep attending, being polite and you’ll see regular faces .

Unfortunately it’s a numbers game, Monday we posted a few pics and a video and our profile had over 22,000 views . Hundreds of winks and 70+ messages. We simply don’t have time to read all of them.

But hats off to 99% of the single guys that have read our profile.

Best advice , keep at it.

Your profile is fine

"Yeah, seems like the regular single male experience."

Absolutely this 👍

If you’re looking to meet women, you need to go where women are. And that simply isn’t in Fab.

I haven’t done too badly through Fab over the years, but the best friends I’ve made were through the other site I use alongside Fab. This includes a hotwife lover to a genuine cuckold couple I have been seeing for 10 years now….

Try a club for a change, but don’t go out of your way to visit one, and avoid those which sting you for annual membership from the get-go. You might get lucky on the night, or you may find it’s just like Fab under one roof for the evening…..🤭

Joining fab and paying your subscription is not the fast lane to wall to wall vagina (or cock if that is your preference

).

People don't get responses to messages or meets because either they don't like the messages or the profile of the sender. If you want a different outcome then reflect on what you are doing and make some changes.

The majority of the verifications I have are from people I met at clubs, social and parties or we had a social meet first!

A single or coupled woman is not going to meet a random stranger man alone, especially when they are not close by.

As a single guy before the internet you had to go to parties and socials and clubs but for some reason people think everyone on the internet will meet them for sex.

Most sensible women know not to do that. Most sensible husbands and boyfriends will not let their women alone with a random stranger man.

I'm definitely a single woman who spends less time on Fab "following" or wanking over profiles and more time planning my meets at socials and clubs.

I stopped doing one-to-one meets with single guys away from the safety of the clubs after the last one touched and kissed me without consent, even though it was supposed to be a social meet. After I was safely away from him, I texted him to say that he breached consent and that he should ask permission before kissing because I have an STI/STD. lol! He was like, "Why didn't you tell me before?" I said why didn't you ask before touching or kissing. I did not have an oral STI/STD

So if a single guy wants to meet me, he has to meet me at a club. The end. My face isn't hidden, and I'm often the only one or one of a few big black women in the clubs I go to... so men who put the effort in meet me....and give me their fab name so I can message them!

One of my swinger partners showed me his women's search in a 5-mile radius, which was like 100 single women, and my search was 1000 single men in a 5-mile radius. We should make that a forum topic.

Good luck but I won't personally be risking my safety meeting single men anymore alone. All of my poly partners I met in clubs, socials or at a social meet with their female partner/wife/girl friend.

Well that was interesting! I searched for ‘single ladies looking to meet a man of my age within 5 miles’, which revealed; 6 profiles……🤭"

Having too much time on my hands, and aided by AI for some demographic information I calculated 1 in 600 women in Penrith are both on FAB and would consider sex with a man your age based on an assumption they would be most likely between the ages of 40 and 70. It would be interesting to reverse search how many men there are looking for single women.

There's a couple I follow in here, and the wife has posted 25 veris from single guys through July (so far) alone. I've not had a meet this year, only two last year, one of which was only a social. I would say it is a numbers game for some....

After 14 years of using Fab, I can honestly say I’ve only met 3 ladies from the Penrith area through the site.

"Having been let down so many times in past sometimes we get reasons for such others are extremely rare occurrence lol , many no shows and ghosting,we not posted a meet in months, seems most guys think that if we post a meet for 2-3 extra guys many say they will attend but then bottle it or think hubby just not up to satisfying me which is not the case and are disrespectful towards him ,but I live in hope one day to experience such "

The difficulty obviously is the ratio of men to women/couples.

This though creates added difficulties. Due to the disproportionate numbers single women and couples can pick and choose, which means some ok f them let the popularity go to their heads a bit and therefore a level of exclusivity exists.

Which is why some put certain barriers up like ages restrictions or will only encourage site supporters.

I personally consider this to be an oversight, especially when said site supporters still don't turn up for meets.

Good luck and don't take it personally.

A few pointers that helped me:

- don’t message everyone, understand what you like and what you want, make it clear! Use Fab’s filters!

- make sure you attach face photos or direct photos to your messages! Women are more likely to open a message and reply if you’ve attached a face picture

- when you tailor your messages make them upbeat! Find something in the profile of the woman your messaging that you can relate to or can talk about

- use the hints like keywords the women give in their profiles, or for eg your miles away don’t message, if you’ve got a beard like mine, and specifically states they like beards then use that!

I’ll be honest I haven’t been to a club yet, it’s something I’m yet to do.

Yup and I live in London! There will be even less interest in lower populations.

6 explains why reality of those no interest situations. half won't be attracted to you. leave 3. Half of 3 won't be compatible with you. that leaves 1.5. Half of 1.5 will be toxic. that leaves 0.25. half of 0.25 will want to do something sexually that you don't want to do.

This explains it. Also as you get older, more people drop out of this kind of lifestyle or they are just happy being single and/or celibate.

Ok, I had to know and clearly have to much time on my hands, but I did the search and for every woman looking for a man around your age in Penrith there are 38 men looking for a similar aged woman. Probably why FAB crushes so many men’s, admittedly wildly optimistic, dreams of signing up as a route to effortless casual sex on tap. AI, once you work how to use it effectively and understand its limitations is an awesome tool that has made my life so much easier in so many ways, even if it probably will be what causes the destruction of human society as we know it if we are to believe what has been revealed this week.

A lot of time on your hands but it does explain a lot the lack of interest for a lot of people.

I rarely see these complaints from Londoners. It's usually someone who lives remote and/or is introverted and/or doesn't want to socialise regularly.

Half of my verifications are from swinger socials meets. I live in London. I travel and I do something in the lifestyle in person at least once a week so I am known and recognised.

So people know I'm a loveable weirdo...not a creepy weirdo or a crazy weirdo.

Yup always more men than women. Lonely, depserate, disconnected from their community, looking for a woman to emotionally and intimately connect to.

I'm a single woman living alone but I have too much to do. Being single 12 years so clearly no desperate. I'm very much connected to my community and I share non-sexual intimacy with loads of people and sexual intimacy with my poly partners in London mainly.

Sometimes I go to the club, relax in the wet area or sofas, tie people up get tied up and have zero sex and feel just as satisfied if not more as if I had had sex.

I have a friend with benefits who lives 4000 miles away he's desperately lonely...Although he lives with his child and has a girlfriend. He's an introvert so he can't build community the same way I can. He's a gamer but I guess it's not the same as having people in person. Some gamers I know meet in person but my FWB doesn't do that.

I have no answers for building community as an introvert. I seems impossible to me.

Where do you get my lack of interest for a lot of people from any of my comments? We both love all sorts of people, are extroverts and live in an urban area but have lived mostly and spend most of our time in cities, London sometimes being one. As you can see from our veris, we do socialise and people generally enjoy meeting us. I am not complaining about anything either, fab and the scene in works fine for our needs. I was just looking at some numbers and I thought, harmlessly passing the time with the guy from Penrith in what I thought was a slightly humorous way. I didn’t make any comment about you. If our paths crossed, I am sure we would all get on. We like crazy weirdo.

Hi all,

I'm the original poster of this thread.

I'm really pleased that it has generated such a good and frank discussion. I've enjoyed reading the different perspectives.

For me, yes, I'm single, and that's a choice I've made. But being single doesn't mean I don't want intimacy and physical connection in my life. That's not the same as simply trying to increase my number of conquests. I'm interested in meeting other singles and couples who are looking for similar things and seeing where that might lead.

Fab is one way of trying to make those connections, but so far I've had limited success.

I've had some fantastic feedback and advice from people on this thread, and I've tried to make the most of it. I've updated my profile and added some new photos, so thank you to everyone who has taken the time to offer constructive advice. It's genuinely appreciated.

Happy Fabing all!

‘Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof.’

JK Galbraith

I think we all look for reasons why it’s not our fault, and undoubtedly numbers come into it. But I think there are a lot of men who will do anything other than reflect on what it is about them that makes them unattractive to the opposite sex.

"We know single guys who are barely on fab , have no verifications but play with lots of women at clubs.

They are reasonably attractive but not totally hot, not creepy but know how to talk to women and couples and they fuck well. Believe it or not this type of man is in short supply at many of the events we go to.

You have a lot of single male veris from black guys with big cocks. Can you recommend a club/event for a straight white guy?

You will see from my veris I visited V2V last month, which wasn’t the busiest, but does prove I put myself out there 👍"

Just seen this, obviously avoid interracial themed nights

Libs on a Friday night,

Chams on any night other than Saturday, although membership is difficult perhaps go to the bbw event first where you don't need membership

Lots of Pandoras events there is a shortage of decent single guys.

Same for quest

Cupids is close for you they have loads of events where single guys are in demand

Literally every club has a hotwife / greedy/ extra man night. Call it what you will.

And yes black men with big cocks do well at these nights but lots of couples and singles women are like us and play with decent white guys as well, if they can talk and not just creepily follow you about. Go to the social areas and try and make connections.

For Pandoras (and other clubs), what do you think is the reason for this mass shortage of decent single guys?

There are 3 factors at play here .. in general high level terms

Men have too much time on their hands and spend the majority of their time thinking about how they are going to ejaculate

Women are treated like a commodity (here)

Most women do not have as voracious a sexual appetite as men want them to

Reasons..

Single men aren't treated particularly well by most clubs and some club goers

Entrance fees are higher which isn't fair

Can be daunting and a bit lonely on the wrong night

Lots of guys are socially awkward so unless they are fit as fuck play is unlikely to happen

We find guys that are mates and have a rapport are good to bounce off

Find another male friend in the scene makes it easier

- At least so far, I haven't been treated hostile or bad at clubs. But a lot of the time it basically does feel like I'm invisible

- The only ridiculous fee I've seen so far is £80 entrance for guys. Most of the time it's reasonable-ish. But yeah, having to pay double than couples or women is a bit of a downer. I understand why clubs do it, and I don't blame them, but can still suck sometimes.

- I'm definitely in the camp of awkward and introverted, combined with not-so-attractive. So yeah, that just adds to the daunting feeling.

Women get in free/cheaper because they are the product

Clubs know men will pay the higher prices because of numbers, however women are fewer and far between so they need more reasons to entice them to attend

Going back to the OP original post.

I have had some amazing nights at clubs and also nights where it just hasn’t been that much fun and have felt on the periphery of things.

Reasons:

My own mood, I don’t drink alcohol so reducing inhibitions and increasing confidence has to come from me..

Hard of hearing (What?) so loud music and lots of chatter make it difficult for me to properly engage.

Some nights are just couples vibes nights and I’m not what they’re looking for. That’s just the way it is.

Having said that I still love going, love talking to new people, love it when I make a connection etc etc.

So I guess what I am saying to the OP is that only you can decide whether the scene is for you right now.

"Entrance fees are higher which isn't fair"

The thing is, most single guys would agree with the idea of giving single women and couples a big discount with the idea of getting them to attend. It's better to pay £80 and there be lots of women, than to pay £40 and there be almost none.

Where it goes too far is clubs that provide less nice changing rooms for single guys, or try and get as many guys in as possible without caring about the quality.

(Quality is about knowing how to behave, not about your looks.)
