I’m a newbie and have been fascinated by the amount of information there is on this invaluable website. I’m taking things slowly for now; trying to get the wording of my profile up to scratch but I seem to have come across a stumbling block. I've been reading an earlier posting about verification which it seems is essential to get if I am to make any progress. Once I've got my profile in order I would like to go to a club to meet some like-minded people. However there doesn't appear to be anywhere near Ipswich / Woodbridge. Am I looking in the wrong place? Any guidance or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Unfortunately I don’t drive, which doesn’t help but still have the option to use public transport, taxis or the occassional lift from an obliging friend.

Pretty sure that Suffolk, like Cambridgeshire, won't licence adult clubs. You've got the Annexe in Kings Lynn, JayDees and VA in Bedfordshire or down to Eurekas (and others?) in Kent if you're trying to stay localish.

Ipswich

I co host the Ipswich Socials, we have up to 200 attend once every 3 months, the last one was 2 weeks ago.

Socials are a good way of getting a feel for the lifestyle and if it is for you.

Single guys normally places in normally taken within 24 hours of announcing the date but there is a backup list

We ask for verifications or a meet woth one of us to be sue you will fit in with others on the night.

Respect and behavior are key.

Many years ago there was a couple in Essex, one in Colchester, the other Clacton. I believe there is a club in Yarmouth, but that is more aimed at TV/TS and their admirers.
