lowered libido!!! help!

help clare here and for some obsure reason my sex drive has taken a nose dive recently changed my pill so dont know if this is why mr feeling about let down as am i! lol

have decided to go au natural and rid my body of all fake hormones

fingers crossed it works anyone else had this!?

Changing your pill is a common one and if the change was very recent it will take your body a little time to adjust. That, or the pill you are now on just isn't for you. I had to try a few before I found one that was right for me.

But I think everyone goes through a stage where they think they've lost their mojo. I know I have, but it's most definitely back now!

So just give it a little bit of time.

Was it cerazette you changed to? That killed off my sex drive and made my orgasms much less frequent and barely noticeable, amongst other problems.

Thanks I have came off the pill as have tried too many to count now and two kids later I'm looking to get sterilised lol so hopefully my mojo returns ASAP lol x

I got awful headaches that painkillers didn't touch, lost my appetite but put weight on anyway, really low mood, and couldn't tolerate contact lenses. I only took it for two months then when I put all the problems I'd been having together i realised it must be the pill. Spoke to nurse and came off.

Hope you feel better soon x

Same I feel like someone has taken an axe to my head and I'm really down but feel sick but am bloated I've came off it now and I am defo going for sterilisation save all the hassle lol no more kids for me or stupid fake hormones lol thanks again

Being sterilized last year was the best thing i ever had done. Id tried all the pills, coil, jab & implant since i recovered my sex drive is huge. My weight is slowly coming down, im much calmer & no migraine (in 7 months)

Now if i could just find the men to keep up with me

Id like to be sterilized but for some reason they wnt I dnt want any more children and have recently gone back on the pill afyer bein pill free for two years so how can I change the doctors mind my cycle is once every 3 months with the pill im on any advice would be grateful xx

I was told I couldn't be sterilised until I was 30+ but I fought and fought with the gp and he is eventually referring me for it I had bad post natal depression and a major liver problem with my second so was advised not to have another pregnacy due to my liver (it wasn't breaking down bile salts due to baby) so I played on this and kept on at my gp lol good luck x

I can wholeheartedly recommend the mirena coil... Tiny amount of topical release hormones (it doesn't affect your hormone production/brain), due to it's dual effect it's said to be as safe as sterilisation, you get no periods, can be removed in an instant and get pregnant straight away AND once you get it fitted you don't have to even think about it for the next 5 years.

It's the best decision I've made probably ever!

Worry stress n tiredness will lose ur mojo

If worried bout it go see ur gp or nurse if u think pill causing it to be lowered or non existent.

Go do something that makes u feel sexy n confident
