Can any one offer me some advice on what would make a good " Opening Gambit " or 1st email ?

What do you like to see ? What would make you reply ?

Any advice gratefully received

Oh and if you have 5 mins would you mind looking at my profile and let me know what you think ? Does it need improvement ?

Many thanks in advanced

Not that much... for having spent some time in here, I know now that what people are looking at first is the profile, even before reading the message. You can have the best opening line ever, if people think your profile is bad they'll never reply.

Fair comment but the profiles that I've been viewing not one of them has face shots so like I said when everyone else is showing I will.

Why ask for advise on your prof , then shoot down in flames the one guy that spends time to reply !

I'm disagreeing with John, I don't think it is necessary to have a face pic on your public profile. As long as you have one to send!

Not much point having your cock covered up on one then the exact same but uncovered shot is there?

I'd remove the bit about your bad experience -sorry to hear you had one but it does get you off to a negative start.

You can't accommodate, assure and respect discretion, yet claim you are single. Unfortunately to many your profile will read like you have a secret partner at home.

You say nothing about what you like, except you will try everything. Trust me, what some of the ladies here have up their sleeves, you may want to retract that statement.

Your profile is bland and generic. It reads like countless others on here.

It wouldn't matter to me what your message said, I click on the profile first, and yours would make me delete.

Honestly if a guy can't even put together a simple message would you really want to meet him. I suggest you take up paint balling or something.

Thanks for standing up for me

No worries, I didn't take it badly!

Ohhhh candy, how dare you?? Nah, of course a face pic is not compulsory, but I always had the feeling that it really helps...

I can not thank all the members who have given me feedback on my profile etc it gave me food for thought and have now changed one or two things.

John Nada - Thanks for the advice on Face photos I do have a reason why I wont publicly publish a face shot how ever I now have a private one which will be sent as part of my first email.

Popping Candy - I'm glad you agree with me over the face shot ( see above ). I have removed my comment " Bad Experience " how ever in my defense I do recall reading somewhere that if you have been away for some time explain why. This is what I was doing.

Yes your right over my profile pic being covered up but since this is probably my best shot I decided to use it but the web masters don't allow naughty shots as a profile pic cant win can I lol.

Funky Fox - I have now updated my profile and fingers crossed reads better ?

I do agree with you when you say just because I can not accommodate may be taken as I have a secret wifey but this is not the case. I can not accommodate as I live in a shared household with to many questions being asked. I don't really know how else to say it ?

Many thanks once again and I didn't mean any offence John and I'm glad you didn't take any

No worries: I'm here with absolutely nothing to hide (after all, if someone discovers that I'm on this site, it means they're on here too ), so I have a public face pic.... But, as long as you have at least one to send, it's alright!

I hope you didn't take my advice as an attack or something
