update your profile for a better result

i have looked at a few single guys profiles on here that are along the lines of 'just come out of a long term relationship so i'm only looking for a bit of fun' and then i look at how long they have been a member for and it's always over a year...and usually it's these ppl who are complaining that they never get any meets...why not just update your profile with more relevant information...after all this is a swingers site so everyone is looking for no strings fun, you dont have to validate it by inferring that you don't want to jump into another relatioship!!!

as helpful as this may be... it is still only the viewpoint of one person, which is why every time the subject comes up as to "how profiles can be improved"... you'll get a million different answers...

and then people listen to the million different viewpoints.... and try to encompass all of them

and then the profile becomes a generic mess, same as all the others who tried to listen to everyones advice...

sometimes the best advice is to say nothing.... because actually it forces people to look out and work it out for themselves, but in a way that is individual to them....

as opposed to, with the greatest respect, spoonfeeding them... in which they don't actually learn, just learn to keep asking and asking and asking

I have only been on here a few weeks and have allready changed my profile 3 times .I think putting new pics on every now and then helps too

Maybe they've been on here playing away for a long time and the "just out of a relationship" IS the update.....

I'm with Fabio on this!

Why give advice that will result in a profile that is adjusted to reflect what the reader wants to see rather than reflecting the profile owner?

An exercise that will only go tits up should a meet occur!

Besides - most of the threads pointing out how bad some profiles are will never get read by their intended audience!
