Is dogging dying out?

Compared to pre-pandemic it’s not something I hear much about these days. There was a local hotspot in Dorset (allegedly, I never had cause to check it out!) which you never hear about now and going by the New Forest thread things sound meagre over there too.

Did the pandemic kill it off?

It isn’t as safe as it once was. Everyone has a camera phone and so private play is safer

Still goes on but too many pathetic rude men and people posting fake meets on here.

Pre-arranged dogging meets are better and more private for us. Still get a thrill being watched or having a strangers hand on my bare breast or between my thighs through the car window.

Damn camera phones, it's such a shame, the whole concept is just so hot and pre-arranged meets just don't quite hit the same mark as turning up to complete, likeminded strangers

internet = killed it

too many men = killed it

smart phones / dash cams = killed it

men who wont take no as a answer = killed it

boy racers / pot smokers = killed it

sun newspaper and other kiled it

a mp and a top footballer = killed it

35 years ago dogging was great loads of couples as there were no clubs in the southwest nearest was west midlands so dogging was how we found out whos who in swinging and where the private parties were and men back then did not tell other guys as they knew to many whould kill it for themselves

Yep the Internet has killed dogging.

Also the sense of entitlement of some men is beyond belief

Half think they are a sex god the other half stay.locked in their cars.

Neither say much.

Dogging is dead, at least how it used to be. What killed it? Cameras everywhere. Locations being widely publicised. Dogging porn where a prostitiute is led into the woods for a bareback free for all has skewed public perception of the word.

Dogging used to be a voyeuristic thing. Sometimes you would play with an onlooker but that was not the priority. Everyone has a HD video camera that sees in the dark on them now. So many cars have dashcams and car parks have them too. Boy racers and drug dealers are not the main reason any more. Privacy is.

It's easier to go to a club.

You can invite whomever you want, you can meet random people there, it's a lot more comfortable than being in a wet dark wood, there is security present, no cameras, no boy racers, etc

The Internet is killing everything because it publicises alternative lifestyles, which in turn draws the wannabes. We have to take it back to the underground which is not easy.

It's not dead but really struggling for breath, the reasons are peppered throughout the replies above.

Very frustrating if you enjoy outdoor fun with strangers in the dark

"The Internet is killing everything because it publicises alternative lifestyles, which in turn draws the wannabes. We have to take it back to the underground which is not easy. "

This is so true.

How many times do you see a post from a single guy in here saying that would like to go dogging but don't know how and where? When I first started there was no information available you just went out and used your common sense. As with everything these days people want it on a plate, I get so many messages from guys wanting "info", very few are prepared to put in the hard yards.
