FabSwingers.com forum: Do we smell funny or something?

The mrs and I have been on fab for ages and ages before getting together, and we never had much trouble getting meets independently, but recently we've noticed that we don't get any at all. We get offers from single guys, yes, but who doesn't? We never get any response to meet requests from couples. Do we smell funny or something, or is it the age gap that puts people off?

Aberdeen isn't the most central location, that coupled with both of you being bi limits straight away.

The age gap shouldn't be an issue, your pics are decent and clear, keep plugging away and good luck x

Hi we're an age gap couple and we've never had any problems (apart from the usual occasional drought) so I suspect it's your location. Maybe look out for socials or travel to a club. We've met some lovely people that way. Hope things pick up soon. Ms

go to a social theirs usually is 1 in aberdean

you will meet a lot of couples that way

i think if people read their profile..they DO go to the aberdeen club( a brill club) lol

perhaps a getaway to another city is needed for a weekend night...or all weekend

OP - with the greatest respect, I think you need to take a step back and look at your profile as someone who is not you would see it reading it for the first time.

It just doesn't 'gel' for me and it does read a little like your 'falling in love story' rather than a profile saying what you are into/looking for.

I am making the assumption here that you want to line up private meets from this, and - unlike Ruby and I - not just have a profile here to keep in touch with people you meet via clubs/parties?

May I also suggest that it is not a good idea to tell people that if they like bifems, but not biguys, that makes them a homophobe/hypocrite. That is YOUR judgement and I can't imagine anyone being too keen to meet you when you are starting from that position..?

On the plus side, you've got some great pics (in my opinion anyway!).

Just think you need to come out of 'we're in lurrrrrve' mode and take a hard look at it and bring it back to what it should be: ie. your shop window.

But wtf do I know????? Lol!

Oh, and don't be fooled by the age-gap thing. Wouldn't matter a damn to us, but I think somewhere along the line one or both of you is rather more conscious of it than you care to admit...

I think it's more to do with the fact that your both bi... Hard to find a truly bi couple on fab ... Also though your pics are good I think silvers last pic is more flattering, I think it's just the way the first two are taken, she looks older than 45 and I truly think its just down to camera angles ... So maybe some new snaps???

We are a bi couple and looked at your profile with this in mind the above comment pretty much sums up our thoughts. Have some fun and take some more photos that will reflect your personalities.

get rid of the loved up mushy stuff it puts some people off i know i read this profiles and just think ok so why are trying to declare from the rooftops you love each other whats really wrong beneath the surface. Use a profile picture as thats off putting not to have one. Meet people for socials and then see where it goes from there we can go to clubs having arranged 2 or 3 meets and then been let down but we just have fun with ourselves and make the most of it you have had meets so dont make this the be all and end all of everthing
