Does blocking certain groups of people from messaging also cause a profile to be unavailable to be viewed by those groups?

No they can still look at your profile, they just can’t message you.

The reason I think it is the case is that immediately after setting the filters, the 'people who viewed you' changes and the blocked from messaging groups also disappear from there.

So say I blocked males from messaging and immediately all single males disappeared from the Viewed by bit and only females and couples stayed displayed.

They can still view your profile, it just doesn't show on that list.
