Yeah but it is better to book with the hotel directly . Just ring them and ask for day use rates

Not used it yet. But everytime I've looked it seems just as cheap or cheaper to find a room for the whole night.

I've used it quite a few times for daytime 'relaxation' Good thing is you pay nothing up front and you can cancel right up to the last minute. Watch the times though, some are short hours like 10 - 4pm

All but one of our stays have been booked through day use and, with a younger family, it’s a really useful service. You usually don’t have to pay upfront and you can cancel on the day if plans change.

Somewhere in Norfolk ask :)

Would they know what you’re about to get up to especially if you only play for a hour or so ? Then check out ?

Regular user. Recommend them.

You can also get good rates directly with some chain hotels like Holiday Inn and Leonardos

Regular user, they've been a game changer for me. Love hotel meets. Getadayroom is another provider I've used.

Used the Dayuse app many times. It's especially useful for the hotels on the app where you don't pay until you check in. That facility has softened the blow slightly when I've been 'stood up' by a woman who has arranged to meet me at the hotel.

I don't find the rates as big a difference from overnight rate, as they used to be. Still worth checking with hotels directly for advance purchase discount rates and discussing an earlier checkin, which I've had some do for free - or maybe add a tenner.

It's great...used a few times, sometimes just to dress for photo shoots, others for meets.

Never had an issue x

Works for me. I do shift work, although I have my own house and can accommodate, I travel around the country to meet people and having a hotel room available in the day is great. Just have to make sure hotel staff stay away from the room as they do insist on cleaning.

Have you tried using a "do not disturb" sign ?

Have used it a few times and no issues ..always put the “do not disturb” sign on the door ..but it’s easy and discreet

Yes, I had told the management I did not want the room entered by staff, have put a do not disturb sign on the outside handle of the locked the hotel room door, put a chair in front of the door inside the room and still found the bathroom door being opened with me on the loo yelling “no” to what turned out to be a female staff member. The lady with whom I was staying was most put out.
