Not been having much luck off here as of late with chatting to people or meeting and what not, part of me thinks it’s how a conversation is initiated, asking out there to you females and couples how do you prefer being approached or messaged ?

I prefer a genuine message. Not a copy and paste and sent to every couple/woman.

For example someone messaged and mentioned that I have a lot of books on my photos, (I have a mini library ha) and asked what my favourite book is.

That shows they have actually looked at my profile and are interested enough to write a little.

Also hate one word messages. They just get deleted.

Not particularly bothered about the content of a first message. More important to us is their profile and whether they've read ours.

We have responded to a simple 'hi' and not responded to well crafted, interesting messages because they clearly haven't read the three words of our profile text or there's something in the profile that shows we really aren't a match.

There's no standard answer to this. Some want nothing but a "hi" then they will check out your profile. Others want you to tell them everything about you in a first message. Most would like some reference to their own profile.

Some, like us, don't reply well to a message that just a compliment....we don't know, both being a bit neurospicy, how to respond or if the sender is meaning more than just the compliment.

So...end of the day, we could tell you what the perfect message is to US but then that might not work for everyone else.

Just be you, and that's the perfect filter.

This thread sort of applies to us a little, we've been on Fab for nearly a year now and can say that we have not been messaged once by a couple or a female 😔 which makes us think that there's something wrong with us as a couple or our profile.

We however have messaged couples, women and beforehand thoroughly read their profile as to send a genuine nice introduction that refrences their profile and what they are looking for (we message couples and women that matches what we are looking for).

Some reply but the chat dies down or the messages get opened and we are ignored.

This sort of points to your question as to whats the correct way of reaching out??.........we are as confused as you I'm afraid.

Any advice appreciated though xx

Join the club! We get very few messages from couples, never in six years been messaged by a single woman.

Diffrent women and couples will like different approcahes and intial message. There is no such thing as the perfect message as we are all unique individuals.

I don't really care about the message as long as it's not your cock or something random crap about what you want to do sexually to someone who's face you haven't yet seen.

If I like the profile I'll reply if I don't I won't.

Think of it like marketing, you can’t appeal to all the people all of the time. You have to be specific about who you are, what you want/bring and what you’re looking for in others.

Will that cut out a chunk of women/couples on here from being interested? Sure it will. But it also means you’ll appeal more to those you’d want to meet and who want to meet someone like you.
