I agree with these suggestions. A few other thoughts: vary intensity; mix soft strokes with firmer spanks. Tease don’t always try to hurt.

Don’t just spank the same area.

Try using other items like wooden spoon, belt or even a chopping board.

What do you mean by "spanking"?

For me that is bent over using hand or toy like a brush or paddle.

Flogging, caning, whipping and other impact are under their own headings or generally under impact play. So what do you mean by spanking?
