Some clubs, like Penthouse Playrooms, Le Boudoir, Xtasia have videos of the inside of the clubs. Might help.

All clubs are different.

Some have a nightclub feel, others are more wine bar or pub with extras.

For a first time you may prefer one that allows you to stay fully clothed.

Also consider a couples only or newbie night, which many clubs offer.

Have a look at the reviews and websites and choose one that suits you.

I hope you enjoy whichever club you decide on.

I’ve always wanted to visit a club but as a single man I’m not sure how well I’ll be received?

Everywhere is different. Some are dress up and some are dress down. Different nights have different crowds.

The key thing is to remember that you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. My advice for any newbies would be to just grab a drink and sit by the bar for a while. Do a bit of people watching and get a feel for the place. Say hi if someone comes over but don’t feel you have to do anything other than that. If you want to explore a bit then go for it but you can always head back to “safety” at the bar.

that depends on how you behave in there.

Maybe get a couples account as people in a club will often want to exchange Fab accounts to keep in touch....

I always choose events with single men, not couples only.

Although we rarely go to clubs now, we actively avoid nights where there are no single males.

It really depends on the club. Each club has a very different vibe and rules.

It’s basically a glorified social though. If you hit off. Head to play room.

My suggestion - based on listening to couples and single females. Talk! If you see anyone you like the look of, don’t be afforded to make the first move and open up a conversation. Worst that can happends is you don’t match and you excuse yourselves and walk on.

I hear it a lot “no one talks to us” well did you talk to someone? Often the case is no….

A club is a NOT guarantee to lead to fun…ok unless your female and that’s your objective then yes it will happen. But generally you should attend any club with no expectations of play. But to enjoy the facilities, have conversations or simply watch.

But your get as much out as you put in.

Have fun be safe and enjoy. And also

Happy New Year 🎊

Would love to go, I've asked but I'm guessing because of my age there's not a lot of interest, even if only for the social side!

Go in with an open mind and low expectations. You're bound to enjoy yourself after the nerves settle!

Chudster, age has nothing to do with it, its all about attitude.

We often go to clubs and there is always a mix of young and old there.

As the saying goes, age is just a number.

So jump in, have an open mind, and enjoy yourself.

Whats the worst that can happen? You have a night out, and don't get a shag. But at least you've had a night out!

There's some really good advice in here for someone thinking of attending for the first time, thanks all.

I hope to go this year but I'm not sure my wife is ready, so might be going as a single man. I like the idea of treating it as a social event! That changes the focus and makes the idea of it a lot more accessible.

I would suggest that is based on how you act and behave. If you go there with zero expectation, are polite, non pushy and understand that playing is not guaranteed then you should be received well

Pick the type of club you would like, not all club's are the same.

For example the one I enjoy doesn't play music or have porn playing, so it makes it for me a much more relaxing atmosphere, you can sit in the social area and chat.

Also it's a dress down club so everyone is going around in a towel or robe which is not for everyone, it helps to keep things casual.

I would say if you have the option try a few clubs and don't be put off if you don't like the first one.

We’ve been to a few different clubs over the years including ones in Spain and Germany.

All tend to have their good and bad points, but in all honesty go with an open mind and low expectations and try and enjoy the experience, you find one tyat works for your dynamic we are sure.

I think everyone has pretty much said everything that is good to keep in mind to be fair, but from me I'd say -

- Find a 'social' or a quieter night (Lots of clubs have 'hosted' nights, like my event, these are always busier than 'club nights')

- Personally, I hate the dress down clubs as I think it makes you feel like you're under pressure to do something, somewhere like Libs for example you can sit in the bar and it's like you're in a wine or cocktail bar and if you don't want to go further than a few drinks, you don't have to.

- COMMUNICATE - with each other most importantly - set boundaries, but be prepared for them to flex and change as you go along, have a 'get out' code word or phrase for if someone is feeling uncomfortable between the 2 of you.

- Have fun!

Feel free to message directly if you want to know about more of Libs events as I also work there, I know they are holding an event on 17th Jan for new comers to the scene so much more a social event and will be other new people there too!

Lizz x

They provide the towels but if you prefer to wear a rope bring your own. There are lockers that are allocated to you so you can put the drinks on your locker number and pay at the end of the day.

The thought of going to a club is pretty daunting for me. I have no idea of the etiquette and with my performance on here I do actually think I’d get nowhere. Maybe one day

there is tons of threads about what to expect from a club, as well as tips how to behave etc. Seeing someone in person Vs seeing their online personality are two very different things.

I would say pick the type of club carefully, they are very different types of clubs.

The good thing about a club it helps to network, socialise with people and you never know what might happen, but don't expect anything.

Choose the club and event carefully.

You don’t want to end up on an event night which isn’t for you.

Perhaps consider a spa type club and look at it as a nice time sitting naked in a jacuzzi just chatting to other naked people. If you are invited to play that's a bonus.

Clubs will generally give you a tour and a run through of the rules/etiquette on your first visit, so no need to worry about that.
