I must admit, I do laugh at people who say” face pic or no reply” when on their profile their faces are either blacked out or body shots only. Why should I show my face when they don’t want to and I fully understand why some don’t want to for privacy reasons so why ask others. If you have face pics visible I’ll send mine otherwise, hmm don’t think so!. What do others think?

Don't send a face pic if you don't want to, move onto another profile. It's understandable that there needs to be an attraction. Maybe whoever messages first should send face pics first?

Making a big deal of it just makes ladies less interested especially if they show they’re face. I like to know who I am talking to and I prefer face pics in the profile, you get more from me if I see your face every time you contact me xx

Many ladies and couples will be inundated with mail, so maybe use a face pic as a filter.

That way it saves any waste of time, if theres no attraction.

You don't have to send one op, just avoid those profiles, they're entitled to ask though. Just as you're entitled to pass them by.

When I’ve been with couples before who ask for face pics but don’t display their own publicly. It’s because they want to make sure it’s someone they don’t know. Once they’ve seen my face, they were happy to show me theirs. But that’s just my experience from it. There could be many reasons.

Thanks to everyone who responded, I wasn’t criticising, as I stated I find it funny that those with none ask for a face pic with first message or message will be deleted, after all you don’t know where your pic will end up! And as has been said and I do, don’t have to send one.

Is not blind date. We ask for a face pic and send ours in return. We have talked to people for a while only to find out she is not attracted to them.

Like others have said didn't like it don't meet them.

We are always happy to send face pics, the only reason we dont have them visible now is because Cazz had a scare at work, not from a work colleague but someone passing by, we also have face pics of us together not just one of me and one of her lol

I'm a quagmire of thoughts on this. Part of me doesn't care who knows we swing, it's adult consensual fun, perfectly legal.

But at the same time I don't want to share my face pics with all and sundry.

We'll ask for their pic, and share ours if chat is going well. Usually within half a dozen messages or so.

I always send a face pic with my opening message if there's attraction I get one in return, 70% of time you get a reply even if it's "not for me, thanks" at that point move on.

Completely agree with you.

I would send one only after building some relationships, not just to beg for a meet.

The fact that premium users can cancel pictures sent only partially mitigates the issue

I don’t mind not having Face pics, but if I can’t see a recent (dressed is fine) body shot of the two of them together, it’s a dealbreaker. If someone hasn’t got the time or competence to use the delay function on their phone camera, they’re not for me.

I think you are completely wrong. You are messaging them sl you should send a face pic. They might send one back but that's totally separate from them putting it on public.

I can certainly see both sides to this but at the end of the day it is the individuals decision. Personally I don’t send face pics until I have established a connection with someone and they have to be verified. There are too many people online who want pics for malicious purposes. Call me paranoid but it is a real issue.

If you don't want to send one don't, it really is that simple, they aren't for you.

I want a face pic fairly quickly because time is precious and I'm never meeting someone I'm not attracted to, strangely enough I can't guage attraction by a penis....

We reasonably assume facepics are exchanged before moving to arrange a meet. We don't openly state it on our profile mind you as it's common sense we'd think.

That said, we cant blame those who do state things like 'facepic or no reply' as there are some folk that need things spelling out to them. We tend to take that as a bad sign if they're cagey on sharing pics and move on.
