Hi there - I've seen a lot of good advice here - and what I want to do most is go to a club with someone.

Don’t have high hopes of success (well none - and im not wasting my first time on anyone who isn’t hot! )

but putting myself on the meet list feels like at least I’m being proactive.

I’m in Manchester so a few possibilities- but somewhere with a mixed crowd where I can wear a slutty outfit, feel safe and find out if this is really for me.

Worth mentioning that a ‘munch’ is usually a gathering of kinky folk in a vanilla environment (eg a pub/bar) so vanilla clothing and behaviour etc is encouraged in order not to out the group and/or scare off the venue’s other patrons. There’s a lot going on in Manchester - something most weeks.

Absolutely - Manchester seems to have loads.

I now automatically say to people to go to one - its safe, there is a community and its a way of sharing information.

And kink events tend to have lots of rules, its as much about the social aspect as anything else.
