Hotel meetups: tips and experiences?

Hey, I’m curious — how do hotel meetups usually work for you? Who sets them up? Do you all split the cost of the room, or does one person cover it? And what about noise — does it bother you if someone might hear you next door? How do you usually deal with that?

Also, how’s it with the hotel staff? If a few couples or men show up, do they not care at all, or do they ever make a fuss?

Hotels really don't care, remember the staff are poorly paid and it's not worth the effort to intercept people coming in.

We love Sunday afternoons. Tend to be cheap rates and we share the cost. We have checked in at 3pm, met the other couple for drinks and headed up. Then checked out at 8pm.

You do get glances when you all walk out with sex hair, but that's part of the fun.

If you pay upfront and don't leave your card details behind for purchases then just leave your door cards on the desk/in the box and leave.

We recently hosted a small gathering in a suite. Fortunately the room next door was empty, but through a connecting door. Neighbours came back very late and we had finished. Won't use that room again, not sound proof!!!

Meeting/flirting/kissing in the bar is part of the fun... the staff have seen it all before.

You shouldn't be as loud as in a club if you can help it!

Regarding your last paragraph, hotel staff really have seen it all before, nothing fazes them. As long as you’re discrete and don’t disturb other guests and the smooth operation of the hotel then you should be fine.

My experience with hotels, mostly one side pays for the room, they other side buys dinner and drinks.

Honestly the staff have seen it all before, I think it probably brightens up there day.(but probably not the cleaners)

Just walk in with confidence, and if thing get a bit loud in the room put some music on the telly)

I do love hotel's with big walk in showers, great fun.

Hotels often do cheap day rates, but you have to look out for them.

And don't for get about parking, it caught me out once, and it was a very costly mistake.

Have fun

I have a friend who used to run small boutique hotels. They were sometimes hotter on it

He said one couple should go up and then the other person or couple just walk in the lift as thats common especially if the venue has a bar.

He says they used to stop groups of 3 or more

Love a hotel meet up!

In Portugal once, we arranged for a couple to come over on a Sunday afternoon. I went to the bar to order a bottle of wine for the room. 'How many glasses?' He gave me a knowing look and a wink when I told him 4!

Yep, all part of the fun. We did the same recently (except it was 6 and then 2 of the girls started snogging at the bar while waiting for the glasses and ice bucket!).

We do Airbnb’s now, esp for Friday meets. In our last one we booked as 3 people - 1 couple and 1 guy. This was due to camera on outside so thought we’d be honest.

We arranged a threesome in a Hotel and paid for a triple room overnight. My female Asian friend had booked it so she went to the desk to check in. The receptionist asked her "will your friends be arriving later ?". My friend said "they're here" and indicated me and a young white man. The receptionist struggled to keep a straight face.

Thank you very much for all the answers. I hope there won’t be many surprises left for us.

Lol we've had a few hotel meets after a wee social drink. Just walk in as if you're a resident and they don't care. We met five guys on one occasion , they probably arrived at different times though (before us). Once someone in the corridor heard us but rarely an issue unless you're a screamer lol . Costs usually split but on the odd occasion they've paid up front or were staying there anyway....

We always get and pay for our own room and invite others. That way if there's any letdowns then we still get a nice night away.

We have never had any issues at all with staff, they generally are not interested and if it's a busy hotel they have no idea who are paying guests or not.

The only things they are generally concerned about is working girls and people staying who haven't paid for breakfast. As someone who has spent many work nights away there are always plenty of people in and out of rooms for perfectly normal reasons.

Just don't act suspiciously, e.g. don't make it clear that those 6 guys are there for a gangbang...

On noise, no issue and quite enjoy hearing others!
