Ive noticed more and more accounts not photo or meet verified even though the account is weeks or months old.Would there ever be any excuse ? And if not why would people message them?.

Yes, there must be genuine reasons why people don't have any meet verifications. But it's also quite reasonable to view it as a red flag, and avoid such profiles as high risk.

Personally, I don't have any as we've always met people through our couple's profile. I'm not going to sweat because people don't want to meet me through this profile.

We always view people as the sum of the parts. Verifications are only part of this sum. No Verifications or a fair few but not a lot to go off and/or loads of red flag = no. But decent page and good messages with no Verifications = maybe. Even if the account shows over a year with no Verifications. Because our in experience of fab there are some slow burners out there or guys who are looking for a very specific match and not looking to hump the whole of Fab. So verifications are not everything, we take everything into account.

Why? We only ever go to clubs. We use the forums to be put on event's list for clubs we're not members of. Why do we need a photo verification? It adds nothing to the way we use the site.

I've never bothered photo verifying and don't care if others have it m. I don't rule out those who don't have meet veris. But I accept responsibility for validation of people in my own way.

I've not verified most I've met, wherever but would if requested. Once here for a while, I have overlooked its significance.

It's not a 100% guarantee of anything. Let people use fab how it works for them. An open site gives more choice for how people want to adapt it to their preferences. Buyer beware always. Meet at clubs where ID is taken, if suspicious

Verifications don't really matter to me. I have met verified and unverified. I have been messed around by both and had some amazing meets with both.

It really depends on if there is an attraction and how we get on.

Everyone was unverified at one point and there can be genuine reasons why they haven't met anyone yet.

Being photo verified just means they're the gender that they've said that's it.

I don't want to photo verify as I don't want to submit my face or a full frontal with my username? I can't be the only one.

Luckily Fab has plenty of options, and filters for those who only want photo verified.

Allowing toe dippers is how we keep the community alive.. let them in with no commitment, and a percentage of them will take the leap.

(I was a long time site supporter, I've let it expire recently as taking a break so need the reduction in features

I've got one veri from a friend with whom we're pretty open and relaxed about our other partners.

My other meets, the style tends to be a kind of boyfriend/girlfriend kind of vibe where it would feel super awkward to essentially say "by the way, can you tell everyone on Fab we shagged so I can get other people to shag me?" So I don't.

From our couples and my other half's solo accounts I know that guys with ten veris can still be super sketchy. There are profiles where people demand a minimum of three or five or whatever veris or they won't meet, but I can't see how any number above one proves anything that just one would prove.

I’m sorry, but for me if you’ve been on here for over a year and don’t have at least ONE meet verification it’s a red flag.

Totally get that some are choosy when it comes to meeting don’t want people to know they meet or who they’ve met etc. but that’s my stance on it as someone’s who active in the lifestyle.

Don’t even need to sleep with someone to meet them, that’s what socials are for after all.

No photo verification here and I've been around for 10+ years, just never felt the need to get it done

Verifications on the other hand can easily be obtained by attending socials (that are usually free) or clubs/parties (that obviously aren't free)

If you want something bad enough, then look for the solution and then act upon it

I my case I've had difficulty actually meeting anyone so I think your being a bit mean 😞. Granted initially I didn't put all that much effort in, messaging very few people and I've not been on the last few months. But I've been putting more effort in recently these last few weeks. Still can't get any more than a few messages in before being ignored but still it's progress.

Ireland is fairly small, there were plenty of people who already knew me and were happy to meet verify this profile from the outset. And as I've had plenty of verifications since, it feels a little redundant now.

I'm not that bothered about guys not being photo verified - I'm unsure what would be the benefit of someone coming on Fab and pretending to be a man.

With regards to meet verifications, it can be difficult to find someone you gel with enough to meet them, and not everyone is into the social scene (many of which are closed to unverified profiles, and have limited spaces, especially for single men.

I went the best part of a year and only met one person, because that's just how things panned out 🤷

I think I'd rather someone was chill about their first meet, that they'd take their time and not take a scattergun approach in desperation for that green tick. Not everything has to be a red flag, and we all have the option to not engage with a demographic if it's not for us.

I find the whole verifications thing quite odd. Aside from meet veris the sex veris are basically like a yelp review for your sex life which (to me) means nothing. Good sex with one person doesn’t mean great sex with the next, it’s all about chemistry. Plus who is going to publicise a bad review/veris. Admittedly I’m picky and the 2 guys I’ve met from here weren’t verified either so how can you get verified in those instances! Lol Also when I get messaged by someone and they have 30/40/50 verifications it’s a no from me.

Because they are useless as a gauge.. they reflect 1 moment which could be a lie/friends account/fake account/or the person vould regret leaving it and cant edit or change the verification.

Some on here are for fantasy or picture collecting so arent ever going to verify themselves.

Some just do a new account or hide the negative verifications

You have only one published verification from a Social meet, what’s your excuse? I don’t hold social veris in high regard. I want to know if they’re good at sex, not chat. Same with Cam veris… what’s the point?

If an account isn’t photo verified, I just don’t bother. If they haven’t even invested in the minimum standard of a genuine profile then I don’t bother.

If they haven’t any verifications, I’m circumspect in any communications

I don't get the lack of photo verification, but I have lost all five of of my meet verifications due to taking a short break from the scene and the accounts of the people & clubs that left them are no longer members here. It's frustrating but another possible explanation for someone having no veri's.

We’ve had several ladies message us recently who haven’t been photo verified. When we’ve pointed that they’d get further if they got photo verified as a lot would just think it’s possibly a bloke pretending, they’ve said they would get verified and then disappeared 🙄

We wouldn’t speak to anyone who wasn’t photo verified - as they could be anyone.

I'd say yes there are reason not to be meet verified. Not so much for photo verified.

Personally, I've had a few meets off here, and they never gave me a verification, and to ask for one just felt weird, like I'd be saying 'thanks for the sex... Now can you help me find someone else'. They then went onto find relationships (I'm a lucky charm I guess) and left the site.

So that might exclude me from some people's criteria but I'd take that over risk hurting someone's feelings.

I think that you need to question your motives for being on this site. If you're a "genuine swinger" then both sides should be more than happy to help the other find someone else - spreading the joy is part of the fun.

I think that a lot of single guys on here are fooling themselves that they're happy with no strings attached sex, when actually they're looking for a relationship. In fact I might go as far as saying "most of the single guys" if you exclude the photo collectors first.

That's not to say that they shouldn't be allowed to use the site or anything, but it does explain some of the problems they run into.

We guys just want to be loved, and girls just want to have fun.

Photo verification is a must in my opinion as for meeting verification, i wouldn't chalk that down as a negative as they might not have found anyone or anyone that they have tried to arrange with have been no shows.

For example I've been on here roughly a month and tried to meet people for a social meeting, sent out some introduction messages to folks near me and have had no response either the message are read but not responded to or unread.

I see it as they didn't find me appealing for what little information they can get on my profile and didn't want to ask anything, they are swamped with messages and i am lost in the sheer amount of them or they don't check their messages often

We like veris and won’t meet without them. We found it easy enough as a couple to get our first veris from visiting our local swingers club.

Also like to see veris of friends and parties and it’s kind of a sex networking tool!

For us swinging is group meets & we don’t care if others see we have met with other couples. It’s e n’ monogomy.

Noticeable that more and more singles use fab like a “tinder+” for 1-1 meets exclusively, a changing trend. For us swinging has always been a group thing.

Have to agree, people (including us) use this site for a variety of reasons, all of which are perfectly fine as long as you are honest with everyone else, so verifications might not matter, but there is no reason why you shouldn't be photo verified, and also whilst we're on the topic, have a profile pic. Why wouldn't you?

I think a rating system would be a disaster, how would you verify that someone leaving a bad rating did actually meet the person involved and isn't just trolling or being malicious? I would take a lot of policing and be open to abuse.

I think the verification proccess is fine, it would be nice if we had a way to retain veri's in some capacity if the person leaves the site, maybe anonymise them in some way.

We're not, never have been and never will be. It's meaningless and too easy to fake. If people turn us down because our numerous meet veris don't meet their exacting standards of a picture of what could literally be anyone holding a piece of paper then so be it...

There's no guarantee of that. How would they know if it's you or not?

And, I could be wrong here, but afaik admin photo verify but picture mods don't have access to that verification photo.

In my own personal case, I'd say the 60-odd in-person verifications speak more to my veracity, that I am who I say I am, and it's me in my photos.

I told someone i had been meeting i needed some time due to a bereavement

They then asked me to verify them as it would increase their chances of meeting people

I considered it gross behaviour and didnt feel they deserved a veri after that, sex was so so too

Both of us don’t have a lot of free time between work and family stuff so doesn’t always suit everyone to meet at certain times
