Find genuine folk on here these days ??

We are either contacted by totally unsuitable people (i.e can't read), find ourselves ghosted by those that appear genuine, told they have been busy (yet logging into fab several tkmes a day) or that their photos and even face pics are pinched from other sites (often abroad)

To be honest that's why we normally go to clubs and when we meet people there lots say they dont come on here due to the time wasters.

To be fair on part of that. We are busy and struggle to get childcare but that doesnt mean we dont like logging on and browsing when we have a spare few minutes! Lol

Yes clubs do seem to be better yet even in there have the odd issue ...

A few months ago met a couple who appeared to tick all our boxes re interests, sexuality, mutual attraction. Had a little soft play before bring invited to theirs a week later. Within no time at all it became very clear they'd utterly lied to us about almost everything !. Of course we quickly left....

It was soooo much better on FAB when we first joined 11 years ago !!, something has changed for the worst. Advertising when we're going to a club ?, won't that achieve nothing on fab anyway with all the fakes and timewasters ?. We also have a neighbour who suspects so we'd rather keep things as discrete as possible

I agree clubs eye to eye contact and you can soon see if there not 100%well no ones a hundred percent but you know what I mean being contacted be so many fakes on here that I actually am a bit rude to them when they contact me now if your genuine hers my no send me yours 100 times out of a hundred they never send it and don’t respond admin should address this problem

We go to clubs, parties and organised group socials. We can go when we chose, rather than being beholden to someone's else's diary. No risk of time wasting or being stood up. We just meet people first time face to face. What you see is what you get and you quickly establish if there's chemistry or not. If not just move on to the next. We rarely bother with fab anymore to find new people.

The site has changed over the years and nowadays I would say the majority of people are here for online thrills. So its hard to get "genuine" people.

There are still loads on, but its a numbers game now

Another vote for clubs and events here... but I will say that people often message us saying that we've been online when we've said we're busy etc... 9 times out of 10 it's that one of us has been on but the other hasn't and if its him that's been on then he very very rarely opens any messages...

Maybe try some socials or clubs... we've had a lot of fun over the years

Same here, one of us may be online, looking through forums or something while the other is at work. We wouldnt always respond to messages without us both reading first

I don't mean to be a dick but 11 years ago you guys were 11 years younger and much closer to the sweet spot for the "reliable swinger" age range, i.e. 30-50 by my estimate. As you get into the 50+ range from what I've seen the ratio of weirdos and timewasters increases substantially.

Yes yet we even have issues there. Plenty of folk seem interested yet either lie to us, use us for a verification or contact us on here afterwards claiming great interest then suddenly ghost us . It's a minefield... x

Yes but we're talking of days/weeks going by... We leave it a while then unfriend and delete. Amazing how many then come back a few months later and repeat the process lol

Some of us don't like the idea of clubs. It's all a bit out there, loud, obvious & most clubs just look like they'll make you feel cheap.

Good people exist on fab. We've found some. We find that perseverance with honesty & kindness puts the fakers & piss takers off. They give out what they expect back. As do we.

So it takes a little more effort no problem. But the idea of parading around in underwear in a smelly dark, neon lit room, with zombie wankers around us & the prospect of sex on a judo mat, just doesn't do it for us.

We enjoy clubs and have met lots of lovely people. But never met the right couple in a club.It's such a complex dynamic with 4 people involved.

We need more than just a physical attraction. And L not being overly interested in women is a huge barrier: chat chat, oh L won't play with the lady, bye....

Met plenty of great single guys both in clubs and on here. Just an almost full-time job sorting the wheat from the chaff

Three more timewasters, liars and a ghoster gone/blocked today. Even met by chance one couple in a club and they messaged US a few days later. Incredible what some fantasists and pic collectors go through to convince you they're genuine yet little hints always start to appear... Should be able to report them and see results, bring this site back to what it used to be...

I totally agree with this. Swingers are the most honest people I’ve known because a) you’re open to sex and want to shout about it and b) it’s not going to be ‘with you’. You can only do this in a club whereas online it’s just a fantasy, which is why there are so many no-shows.
