Newport

We are staying at the Village Hotel (Walsall) and going to Chameleons on Friday 24th and Sunday 26th.

On Saturday we want to go into the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham.

Are Taxi's easy enough? Or other forms of Transport? Approximate cost?

A lot to ask we know, but if you don't ask

I think you’ll be looking at £25-30 for a cab. There are public transport options but they’re a bit faffy with changes and a walk at either end (bus or tram).

Black country

There are a number options,

1, Drive / uber to Walsall town centre, catch train to Birmingham new street then metro to jewellery quarter.

2. Drive to wednesbury parkway then get a metro straight into jewellery quarter.

3, bus 529 into Walsall then the 51 to Birmingham, you can other catch the tram, or it’s then about a 15 min walk from brum.

Agree….Uber worked great for us.

We either get one from Birmingham airport to Chams….or if an early flight we train it from aiport to city (approx £5pp) for brunch/shooing and then Uber to Chams (approx £20-£25).

Uber was amazing! Never used them before, but went to the Jewelry Quarter, Bull Ring amongst other places and Uber was both quick, cheap and reliable. Amazing service, wish I had used them before.
