We are thinking of dibbing our toes deeper into the industry

We regularly use SH:24 for our personal needs on here

Anybody know what extra testing is required & what cost?

To work with established content creators or studios you'll need three months of clean tests on paper letterheads and also probably including Mgen and Trich now.

We've found it incredibly difficult to access tests monthly, with printed results, that are cost-effective.

Dean Street clinic is used by a lot in the industry. We self test as anyone should anyway from time to time but the NHS clinic tends to just send a text or at most an email that says 'clear'. Not really good enough for the industry as you can imagine.

Firstly, you definitely should have a look at doing more. You can do well.

You will need to find a clinic that will test and give you an acceptable form of proof of results, usually a hard copy (but not always) with your details on along with any results.

Some clinics may charge a fee for this service, and that can vary wildly depending on where you go.

There are easily accessable online home testing which is ok for your peace of mind but any respectable studio or producer and more importantly people you interact with would want a bit more than home testing proof. As already mentioned three months of test results tends to be standard.

Of course everyone is different as you will mind people have their own standards and attitude towards test and proof within the industry.

I have done a lot of testing and done work within the scene. I would be happy to answer anymore questions or queries you have.
