Hey all, any pointers for single guy meeting a couple

They're well versed, know what they want, been to clubs etc, and are looking for a social that potentially leads to more

They've allured that I need to impress (in a nice way) so feeling a tad nervous, and a little pressure I guess

Any tips for me would be great, nearly all my veri's have been direct meets

I'm not socially awkward, I'm thinking view it like anything else where you don't know someone, like meeting at a wedding, party, BBQ, something like that

Thanks in advance

They need to impress you as much as you need to impress them. Just be yourself and don't jump through any hoops.

I know it's hard for single men but if someone told me I need to impress them I wouldn't bother, it's a two way street. Know your worth

Thank you, that did cross my mind as I was writing the post and forgot to include it!

^^ go along and enjoy yourself. We used to chat about all sorts of stuff at social meets, steering well clear of politics and the weather though

This is the best advice.

And as others have said, they need to "impress" you too. Have your own boundaries, and you have as much right to say No as they do.

Kind of like a job interview, you are assessing if you want to work for them as well

Absolutely echo the advice to be yourself.

And yes, steer clear of politics. That is a golden rule in this game.

Clean, smart, offer to buy the drinks. Have a nice normal conversation rather than being a horndog. As long as you click, it's all good.

Have fun, be cool and be yourself.

You never know that social may turn into a full blown that evening.

We have a social with a single guy tonight

Firstly be yourself they asked to meet for a reason.

They need to impress you just as much.

Enjoy your self and just be relaxed it’s a drink with friends don’t put too much pressure on it and over think what could happen if it happens it happens

Honestly just like everyone else has said.

I think it's much better to just be yourself and don't put extra pressure on it. Look at it as purely a get to know you and try to relax.

If they don't like you for you then it's not meant to be.

Of course be smart in appearance etc but they should be just as willing to put their best foot forward too, first impressions count regardless of if your a couple or a single. They chose you to have a social with so you're doing something right already, keep doing that.

Good luck, hope you gave a great time.

We met a few solo guys as socials, pretty much chatted about everything except sex in most cases, maybe that was just us, we didn't shy away if it did come to that subject, but other wise it was just a getting to know you scenario, so just be yourself be smart and chat away.
